While I quite like the badge close up in pictures etc, I’m not so keen on how it looks on the shirt itself. It does give a Chelsea vibe, especially if it’s monochromatic.

Sure Ollie has dropped off a bit in these last 4 games, but so has the rest of the team. If he was missing a hatful of chances, or the rest of the team bar him was performing to a high standard then I’d be concerned, but we’re not creating a great deal for him currently.

I appreciate that with the pending arrival of Alemany that we’re going to be linked with a lot of ‘names’, but I still maintain that I am happy with whoever Unai chooses. He’s got my backing 100%.

If you’d asked me 6 months ago, I would’ve said that I think his time at Villa is done, but after seeing what Unai has done to resurrect the career of a lot of the first team, I’m prepared to keep an open mind on anyone.

I’m sure Unai will have a look in preseason at all the youngsters who have been on loan in the championship, and decisions will be made.

People need to cut Buendia some slack, you have to remember that no one else in the squad is on his wavelength…

It was based statistically. The thing that I do like about Pete is that he gives his opinion, I don’t always agree with it but it’s his opinion rather than just being safe. It’s the way to drive traffic for his channel, I think you do have to try and watch/listen to views that differ to your own, even if just for balance.

Well I don’t like Purslow, so everything the club does that I don’t like is his fault, and everything I do like is because of NSWE.

Would Goncalves count as home grown from his time with Wolves? That was where he signed his first professional contract.

So how do they increase matchday income then?

If we want to compete financially against the teams at the top then we have to increase our matchday income. Ticket prices have to rise, it’s s*** but it’s the way it is.

Where did Gregg say that? He said it’s possible but pretty unlikely on the 1874 podcast with Dan Bardell.

I love it that they hate us, I was there when they got relegated in 2009, and I laughed like everyone else did. Because of course had the shoe been on the other foot, they wouldn’t have mocked us or given us ANY s*** at St James’ Park about it right? Big babies, it’s football, get over it!

I’d love a win, I’ll be more than happy with a draw though as Eddie Howe has transformed them into a very good side.
