    General, re: point 4 from Sellyoakvilla - this is something that overseas fans would definitely purchase also, I know I would. At times I've considered a season ticket just to support the club and ensure I get some sort of preference for finals etc but it is a big spend for someone that flies in only one or two times a year. I'd definitely buy a membership though without hesitation.

    All the big races in the US will be banning iPods so best to get used to not using them. How to motivate: I always find if I don't feel like running, the best thing to do is to go and change into my running gear and just watch TV or do whatever. Somehow the fact that your gear is on prepares you mentally to head out there and do it. Anyone interest in Asia events, or if you live out this way - check out my new site running-asia.com which I'm taking to the masses in a few weeks once all the content is on there. There is even a forum, although it will never be Villa Talk of course.

    General, tough question coming up... I'm heading to New York to run the marathon in November and decided I can't fly all the way there without seeing Randy's Browns! So I've bought tickets to see the game against the Cowboys on Nov 6th! I'm really excited about it, although I must admit to knowing nothing about NFL, so my question is: Which pub would you recommend I visit before/after the game? Of course as you know a good pub is essential to our Villa football experience, I'm sure the Browns is no different! Appreciate your good recommendations.

    Hi General - Something NOT related to Gareth Barry. As our second season comes to an end, I'd be interested to hear your views on what things are top of the Aston Villa priority list outside of playing staff. ie. further ground improvements/expansion, promoting the club in certain regions such as the US/Asia, new fan initiatives. Would appreciate your insider knowledge on what new areas Randy and yourself are looking at to further the fantastic improvements already made since joining the Villa family.

    (I know it was posted a month ago, but I'm new!) I've probably got to say that's the best I've seen so far. the PAOK chant is probably my favourite ever, and to put Villa to it is superb. It tells us who we are. Involves our new slogan AND has our greatest acheivment mentioned. Awesome stuff! Great job Granto! Cheers KSW...tough chant to get going really, but reckon it would be brilliant. Unfortunately I live in Singapore and only get a chance to get over for a couple of games each season, get it going son!

    Here is my try at the PAOK chant... Ohhh, We are Villa, Aston Villa, Claret and Blue... We have a PROUD HISTORY, And we won the Euro Cup... We have a BRIGHT FUTURE, And the only way is UP... It is definitely a match to the tune.

    On talksport there was a rumour just mentioned of Villa completing a MAJOR signing before the deadline....keep the fingers crossed there is something about to happen!

    I find it absolutely bewildering that the player is not deemed good enough if he only costs £2-3m but that we are disgusted if the team plans on spending close to £10m on players of quality like SWP or Young. I mean really, what the f**k is MON to do ???? Exactly my point. It might take 2 or 3 signings like Routledge for players like SWP to even think we are serious. If many of our fans on here are doubting it, why should a player like SWP believe it..?!?

    I find it funny that 3/4 of the players who we get linked to are shit/not good enough/not better than what we have/not a statement to the world we are the greatest club in the world... We need bodies, everybody knows that, but so many people are quick to reject most players linked/suggested/made up by the press.
