This!  I'm in exactly the same position. 

I have Hooper sat on the bench but I am not in need of WR at present.  Kind of hoping Hooper wakes up during the second half of the season.

There was supposed to be one. It might just be me, but I'm sure I've seen some league members holding players on IR, I haven't been able to do so though 

I feel like I have tried to stay neutral and somewhat empathetic to your concerns @Brumerican but, this isn't a big issue and your attitude about it and towards other members of the league, absolutely sucks.

No one comes on here for abuse or plays in the league for abuse, and you don't have any right to dish it out. If you have genuine concerns, at least raise them with class rather than like a petulant child. And just so we are clear, I wish you no ill will, only good health.

@kkr deserves no abuse in my opinion and cannot be held accountable for this seasons trangressions. I don't know him personally but I know that he has selflessly managed the league this past 10 years, often at our behest, and I think the league will be a lesser without him. A personal thanks from me.

Best of luck for the rest of the season everyone and the best of health in the ongoing crisis. I'll be sticking around and I'll be back next season... about which, let's appoint a commissioner early or arrange a transition of power, so we don't lose the league history and can just crack on getting it organised.

The Browns were shredded last night, it's becoming a bit of a theme.  Truth be told though, if a team can stop the run and get ahead on points then you would expect it to happen.

Only three players picked the Browns to beat Dallas.  I'm amazed!

I think you are right about revising how defences score points though. One to mull over for next year. 

We revised the scoring last season as it happens. We lowered the boundary points i.e. 100, 200, 300 yards conceded etc. same for points conceded as well. We did however reward teams for touchdowns and sacks.

So the basic rule of thumb with defences is to pick one that sacks a lot, creates turnovers and makes it hard on opponents to score.

The scoring system for all positions is viewable on the web view. Always worth a look to help guide player choices.

That wouldn't be possible because of the number of points awarded for not conceding. Defensive scoring works in reverse (more points for being less worse) compared to other positions (more points for getting better).

Its not the reason I lost this week but it has happened before to me and others. Maybe one to look at when we revamp for next season

I wouldn't vote to exclude defences.  The game is about skill in your selections at all positions, spotting the rising players etc.  The same applies to defences.

Defensive scoring on the other hand is plump for debate.

Thanks dude.  I get the sense that it will be a more manageable number going forward so in the short-term at least let's organise a transfer of control and we can go from there.  Appreciate it.
