whilst I agree Downing has been our best player so far this season, I must say today he royally pissed me off. He took the pace out of every attack and he slowed down every opportunity we had. I like him, but he looked like he wasn't interested at all today

one of my mates supports hannover 96, they play some **** efficient football atm. usually iet's them fighting against relegation and us competing for european football, but this season is a bit different though...

Yes it's great. As you say only go for a couple of days, a long weekend is more than enough. I know I had some great fun over there with the germans but I can't really give you any tips for obvious reasons. Hofbrauhaus was great though, germany as you imagine it!

With us in Flanders pubs have the choice and not surprisingly to me almost all of them are smoking. I'm a non-smoker myself but I'm not at the least bothered that people around me do. The local I went to when I was young decided to be non-smoking and since then we actually went there only a handful of times again, and every single time it was almost empty, whereas before there always used to be 10 men minimum inside. Our new local however (which is held by my brother-in-law) is going better than ever

well I'd play NRC and Hogg against sides with a stronger midfield, but for me Nige should be able to handle this one on his own And also I'd love to see us get a comfortable win as it's been ages ago, so we should attack!

I'd rather see Bannan instead of Hogg, but other than that the above is the team that should be playing on saturday

not that I know of. It was possible in the past with ryanair but they don't do that anymore. I'll have a look if there's some others offering flights but I assume it will be costly

Ok so I'm going up to wigan but I actually haven't got a clue how. Getting to London would be no problem but I have to get from there to the JJB... Would I be best off getting the train, national express, ... Any advice would be more than welcome! cheers

Well that's it I'm going up to wigan in 2 weeks. If they put in a performance like that over there they'll find me in the dressing room at half time to give them a kick up the arse as apparently Houllier is not that bothered :evil: anyone else? Tonight was dreadful
