  1. The controller is too big for my hands, I really dislike it. Wish I could use the PS3 controller, which was perfect for me. It's basically an XBOX controller (which was too big for me) with a touch pad, I'm gutted.
  2. Sorry, if it helps, it does get boring. But my lunch breaks are now filled with PS4, so that helps
  3. I've never met or seen him, just one of those generic emails that goes around the employees saying someone's a new financial controller because profits are going through the roof and we cannot possibly handle all this cash filling up the office. I work from home and am probably widely despised for it
  4. There's a guy in my company who's called... wait for it... Bruce Swayne. I don't think I've ever been so happy. Proof - sort of..
  5. I started the campaign earlier, so I can get used to the controls/pace/feel of the game + I can unlock some weapons can't I? Looks really nice
  6. Davakus plays PC mate
  7. But I got what I wanted
  8. lapalfan - original huh? I only accept absolutely L33tness though, if you're shit, I'll kill ya
  9. So I got one.. It's GLORIOUS..
  10. I won't tell anybody
  11. **** me man. So I go to Argos in Halesowen because they have 2 PS4s (Killzone bundle) being delivered at 11:50am, you cannot reserve them online and I cannot reserve over the phone. So I get there for 11:35. Go up to a guy and say "I called customer services and they told me you have 2 PS4s being delivered in 20 mins. Can I wait here and buy one as soon as they come into the shop?" The guy checks the computer and says they've been reserved. I tell him they cannot be reserved because I called customer services and they called your store and you told them they are first come, first serve. He then checks with a guy in the back - who has reserved them himself for 2 customers! So the guy goes "listen, the man who reserved 1 of the PS4s has told us that he'd be in store by 3:30pm, if he's not here by then, you can have it." So now I have to wait until 3:30 to call up the store (he gave me their direct number, which he wasn't supposed to do) and see if the guy has collected it. Fingers crossed I suppose. When I get it in my hands, I'll probably reflect that chasing one around the Midlands has been quite fun
  12. The sniping has changed from BF3, so I'll forgive you missing a few shots with sniper rifles on this game while you get used to it
  13. Mate, I called up Argoose and they'll have 2 (!! 2 haha!!!) delivered to Halesowen at 11:50am today, I'm going to get there and hopefully nab one from the lorry. It means I'd be on tonight. Also, Pieface, the auto aim on this game is high, you should be aiming for about 20-25% accuracy with assault rifles try and go for stationary targets if you're panicking
  14. Well the thing is, is that you need to look at the kit which they're making games on. From PS1 to PS2 there was a huge scope for improvement, from the pixelated boxes running around on screen. Then from PS2 to PS3 there were new things like textures and flowing clothes, mouth movement. better draw distances etc. But when you have good draw distances, decent rendering, decent textures (up close anyway), mouth movement, expressions, shadowing, okay lighting - then apart from improving all of those things to more or less near perfection, it isn't going to seem quite as "OMG" as the previous next gens is it? We've gotten to the point where people look/act/move like real people, I think now is time to focus on speed, emotion, jaggies etc etc. You won't get the huge leaps anymore.. because cut scenes are already more or less movie quality CGI and the actual gameplay is slightly lesser. Saying all that however, I was hugely "wowed" by NBA 2k14, they look completely realistic. I thought it was a real basketball match for about 30-40 seconds.
  15. Wish I'd championed the XB1 a bit more now
  16. 1st one happens a lot, I like the way as it finished the enemy picked up the bomb though 2nd one is really very good, you should be proud. I was pretty proud of this effort on Back to Karkand (BF3...) I went 143 - 34. http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/battlereport/show/4/110478035/180276572/ First half of the game was me doing literally all of the flag caps whilst my team of l33t snipers sat and watched. Then the 2nd half of the game was much better team wise, just playing with randoms too, got revived once during the whole game! Wow! That's very good! Do you play in vehicles or more infantry based? I'm mostly infantry player, I don't have the patience for tanks etc, althought I'm ok in a chopper. Of my 143 kills, 101 were with my primary, I must have got 15-20 with an RPG. The reason I got some tank kills was because I stole their tank (run up to it with a repair tool, damage it and people hop out of it willy-nilly), and held some flags for about 10 minutes with it and that's when we started winning. I'm ok in them, I just find them a little tedious. But in that particular game, we were getting spanked by their LAVs and Tanks, so i stole their main asset and then killed about 4 LAVs which more or less turned the tide of that fight. It was very back and forth, luckily I caught that break.
  17. If only I could get my mitts on one
