Really wish we played full strength against United. We would have comfortably won it.

Trying to figureout what is more perplexing - Sanson not playing or McGinn playing.

Shocked by his performance. How can a PL keeper play so bad?
-
Olsen was glued to his line!!!!!

Kamara is klass

Think ManUtd have confidence now.

He lifted the ball!

Amazing what a bit of coaching can do - the step up in composure, organisation and awareness is quite something.
So that's what I am watching

thank god that half is over!

Just want to get to half time with the hopes of some HT subs.

Terrible passing. Old habits.

My Arsenal friends did warn me that I will lose my love for football under Emery

Feel McGinn does not have the confidence of his teammates. They are not looking to play through him.

I'd imagine once Kamara is back, Dendoncker will be benched. Douglas and Kamara should have that double pivot nailed down.
Where does Sanson fit in? I imagine he'll be fighting with Ramsey/Buendia for one of the wide(r) spots. Early days I know but I can envisage him getting plenty of minutes.
Coutinho to also be fighting for one of those spots? Unless he plays him as one of the two up top. Either way, this system seems to thrive on high energy, so I do fear for him.
I'm excited by this formation though, it feels fresh.
I heard Emery chops and changes a lot, so there is minutes for everyone if they earn it.

Our squad is so stacked with players right now.
We'll have to offload some to bring more in.
Guilbert, Nakamba, Coutinho potential candidates.
Nakamba, McGinn, Ings and Chambers probably all "off loadable". Doubt anyone would take Coutinho - except maybe an MLS side.

Already more points versus the Big 6 than the previous manager.

Love Buendia's aggression but his passing and decision making has been woeful.

Disappointed that the star is still there, but miles better than the current badge. I vote for number 1.

With all this talk about how we need to be Newcastle… Was Bruno Guimares a January signing for Newcastle?
Guimaraes has raised his levels even further since joining Newcastle. Coaching, more than recruitment, has turned Newcastle around.

That's what top managers can do.
And if not? Sack him for the next guy? Given his coaching profile, accomplishments and recent successes, Im willing to give him all the time he needs.

Watching Arsenal, William Saliba another example of a player written off that has come good. Thus not concerned about our squad. They just need a coach and system to revitalize them. Coutinho might be the one exception as think his game is not suited for today's Premier League.

In Unai, I trust...
Unai or bust for me. If he can't stabilize us, then I give up. Not on the club, but dreams of grandeur.

If he ever starts again, then we know there is something sinister going on at Bodymoor Heath
