Its always a scapegoat for some players. Yet for others they are just crap. Very strange.
How you can watch games like last night and think he is a scapegoat is beyond me.
I don't see the need after a 3-0 win and 9 wins in 11 to have to find someone in the team to slag off.
He's a decent striker. He's not fantastic and he's not shit. He's had a tough time here but he's shown in spells he can do it.
If Hogan wasn't playing last night, it would have been someone else slated.
Just enjoy the victory folks

As a proud founding member I can tell you that team is long gone,a s are most of it's members in terms of a VT presence. In fact I might be the only one left.
But given we produced a Premier League player, I think we served our purpose.
Who were the other members?

One of the best videos on the internet.

Got a fairly big date tonight.
Girl I've noticed at work for months and finally spoke to, set it up for tonight. Taking her out for dinner which is some sign of interest (agreeing to go with me!)
Wish me luck!

Sherwood discovered Benteke, when he was playing 5-a-side as a 6 year old inBelgium.
Rubbish
Sherwood spotted Benteke at the creche in the DRC when he was a toddler.

@CosmicVillan what was the source for the graph? I'd love to see those for other teams as well.
Wikipedia have quite a lot on the team pages

@Xela will do OK too.
I will be applying oil to the arm of the burger flipping robot until the robot maintenance bot arrives.
Flippy might be able to flip the burgers but he can't cater for special orders - like no cheese on one and extra gherkins on the other.
Flippy needs to earn his 5 star badge first.

It probably helped that he was playing under Sherwood. He had only just come back from injury. This ain't a dig at Sherwood. I actually liked him.
But yeh going off topic.
It wasn't a managerial masterstroke - he just thought "Benteke is good... let's get the ball to him" and it worked well for a short while before it all fell to shit

Anyone stay up and watch the Oscar's ?
Must have been a pretty awkward moment when alleged rapist Kobe Bryant won an award when pretty much everything surrounding the gala and during it had been about the #metoo movement.
I don't think Casey Affleck would have got such an easy ride!

Similar to how Benteke hitting form made Sherwood look so good.
Benteke hitting form was down to Sherwood. It wasn't a coincidence.
Sorry, off topic

I am disappointed that Ozil decided to stick with Arsenal. I am sure he loves living in London especially when he is getting the pay he has, but Ozil has kind of fallen off the map. Ozil would fit in perfectly at a club like Juve, Dortmund, PSG, or Bayern.
I think it showed a lack of ambition for Ozil and perhaps proof he as driven by greed not a desire to test himself further. As soon as Arsenal offered him the figure he was after he signed. Was it £300k per week?

They're coming off the best spell in their history.
Keown was saying the other day that this is the worst they have looked since the bad days in the 80's! What bullshit. They were much worse in the few years before Wenger joined (was it Rioch and the latter Graham days)

I think a white author is always (well, vast majority of times) going to have their leads as white. People write from what they know and their own experiences.
As for films, I guess they could take more of a creative angle.

Thanks all.
I completely gutted I've got to stay here longer. It's the most uncomfortable, unrelaxed environment imaginable. Daft old coots shouting in the night, constant clanging banging and rattling and roasting hot (which I then get told is because I'm unwell and they need to cool me down, but everyone that visits me complains it's too hot).
Not worrying about whatevers wrong with me. Nothing I can do about it. Just want to get out of here.
Get well soon mate. I know what you mean about hospitals. Every time i've been in one, I couldn't wait to get out and that was only visiting!

Listened to 606 tonight mostly calls from upset Arsenal fans, but the final call was a peach.....Chap comes on sobbing about the downfall of his beloved Arsenal, I was convinced it was a wind up because he was actually crying on the radio. Expected it to be a Spurs fan start laughing and shout COYS, but it was a genuine caller!!!
Staggering isn't it? They\re still the 6th best team n the country and they're talking as though the world has ended.
Chunts.
