I don't see why the BBC would pick someone like Savage to commentate on a Villa match - he hates our club (and vice versa) and will never say anything positive about us. But he's right though :?

West Ham are there for the taking but its like we can't be bothered at times. It's almost like playing with one forward but four in midfield when Heskey plays because he neither contributes to the build up of Downing Milner and Young or trying to get on the end of something like Gabby. Maybe that is too harsh though, but we really need some good finishing here.

Agree. Cuellar's distribution was awful, like having Mellberg back at right-back. Can't understand why Young was bench, unless it was injury. His form doesn't warrant being dropped. Cuellar is shit at right-back, it should be centre half or bench for him after tonights disply! I'd imagine he was there to challenge Blackburn's height more effectively from a defensive point of view. He kept giving the ball away or just hammering it aimlessly up field. Job done. Fantastic away support Guzan - 6 - there's no point in saving loads of penalties if you can't do the basics properly, think the pressure affected him. Cuellar - 7 - Decent showing. Did his job at RB to match the height of Blackburn Collins - 6 - Did what needed to be done. Not the committed performance of usual. Dunne - 8 - Fantastic showing, can tell he wants his medal.
