How about a cheeky loan bid for Lukaku? Already spent a happy season in the midlands, Belgian and Chelsea bringing in a new manager so could be surplus there! -
I agree. Most of the baggies side wouldn't be anywhere near understanding the rivalry between us so I cant see the manager having a pre-match talk advising them to lose the game. they would all be scratching their heads!

Seems to me that RL is taking a huge gamble in that he is hoping that we will avoid relegation then have a mass clear out under PL in the summer and bring in a few more gems like Benteke, Vlaar, Westwood, etc. on lower wages than the deadwood we are carrying at the mo. Hope it works out that way...

Definately. The thing is, in that game Liverpool had 61% Possession, 17 shots on target, 9 shots off target and 7 corners so how did a villa defence without Vlaar in it, only concede 1 goal then go on such a terrible run conceding goals like we dont exist? I know our players are mostly poor but they have proven they can do it so there is no excuse for being this bad on a consistent basis. I have no idea what my point is now because i'm pretty sure i'm going to end up contradicting myself. Dont know what to think, losing the plot, fml...

I 100% agree that we need 3 or 4 quality players but this was our team that beat liverpool just over a month ago: Guzan, Lowton, Baker, Clark [c], Lichaj, Holman, Westwood, Bannan, Herd, Weimann, Benteke. Subs: Given, Bowery, El Ahmadi, N'Zogbia, Bennett, Delph, Albrighton. So why cant we beat the likes of Bradford over two legs with what we've got?

Maybe. At least it shows one thing: He was consistent up until then and that was dated 15 months ago. He has obviously continued to impress since then so potentially a good, solid, consistent player.

I disagree. I'm sure he thinks he's David Beckham. He is always trying to make that perfect cross to make a name for himself instead of keeping it simple. 9 out of 10 corners are shit too!
