    Haha, I don't like heavy metal that much. Genesis,yes,pink floyd etc attracted the well educated sorts and well to do people. Zeppelin attracted the popular lads who got all the pussy and sabbath attracted the unpopular down and outs. Not all true I know but that's the image I get. The who attracted hooligans and riff raff????

    Genesis was for the uni kids and sabbath was for the gutter kids. You can imagine genesis and yes fans turning their nose up at that horrible simplistic heavy music.

    I love ozzys vocals on those 70s albums, paranoid he's in top form imo. No one could deliever some of those vocals the way he did. He was unique, ok not everyones cup of tea but very unique. War pigs,hand of doom,fairies wear boots his vocals give me goosebumps.

    I'm not a huge prog fan, don't like yes or genesis. Don't mind rush to a degree but aint a big fan,king crimson now there's a different story, I like them. Don't get me wrong I hate not knowing what zep would of produced in the 80s but I think it would of been the route I said. By this time they were in their 30s and had been there and done everything, even their stage presence had changed to a more mature look and less pyro technics. They would of lost their younger audience to a degree but I still think they would of been huge and sold a lot of albums.

    I don't think I would of liked zeppelin if they would of went through the 80s. The direction they took on ITTOD was a sign of what was to come, page at the time was a raging heroin addict so jones was taking more control. I think you would of saw many musical styles come from them, new wave,world music, a lot of synth. I hated their last album, to be honest though I don't think they would of took the motley crue/poison route. I think they would of been very progressive but not to my taste.

    The worst part of that night was the nothing performance we gave. Although I will admit, getting locked in the ground for 40mins wernt great. Got back at half 2 and was completely pissed off.

Even tried to nosh frozen black country faggots when the landlord at our local decided selling them would be a good idea.     Obviously got a big hooligan problem, but I think they are a proper community club. The den when in full flow is as loud as anywhere in english football. I've got a soft spot for them, give me them over the other so called hard nut clubs like leeds,blues etc.

    Its alright if your going to see some pop band but proper bands should not have to play a certain song. If sabbath or zep wanted to leave out all the big uns and play their back catalogue I'd probably be happier.
