this whole transfer lark has been a disaster. He had his head turned, by the looks of it Liverpool made promises that they cannot afford to keep. If you think of all hea ahcieved last year I'd rather keep good players thahn sell them. He will loose the captaincy but thats not necessarily a bad thing and hopefully he will concentrate on keeping his head down, i highly doubt if he stays MON will ease off on him he will expect 100%

General, I hope you've got a big umbrella to avoid the wonderful British summer weather. Could you also please put on the OS the New Away GK kit, rumour has it that it is green is that true? Also just one other thing is it possible that both the home and away kits come in a long sleeve version this season? Personally I prefer the long sleeve version and was disappointed last year I couldn't get a long sleeve away version that people like Ashley Young wear. Sums it all up really, if he stays it shows that he believes he can achieve whta he wants at Villa. If he leaves it shows we couldn't show the ambition he wanted. I think this will drag on for ages, for him to stay we need to offer him a new contrct and he needs to sign it, that will take time.

The passion is back, the pride has returned, good times to be a Villa fan.....puff that chest out boys the good times are coming back to Villa Park.

all i want is 3 points. I don't care if its a 1-0 win by an own goal in injury time. Thanks to chelsea winning last night everton are getting in shooting range of battleship villa. A win for us at the weekend and a Pompey loss to Man city away and we are 6th win everton next to play. Cross your fingers, who'd of thunk it potentially going into our game against everton we could be slugging it out for 5th....

remember when Marlon couldn't score for toffee at West Ham. He then got a couple gainst us a starting getting a bit of a run going. We do have a habit of helping teams get their confidence back. Hopefully we'll do a Derby on them and spank them for atleast 4. We have superb attcaking players hopefulkly we can juts keep it tidy at the back. Big games from Laursen and Mellberg and we should be fine. Bouma is Mr Consistant at the moment so potentially our only weak link at the back is Knight....and maybe a dodgy keeping game which tends to happen to us in the derby from Carson.

i thought it was a good article and summed us up completly. When i saw that we were playing NRC at right back the game was kind of dead for me from the outset. I thought we played pretty well all things considered and Manure were different class, its not a mistake they are top of the table. team wise, i'm done with petrov, he needs to go in the summer, our defence looks like a leaky bucket, how many games have we gone now without a clean sheet? To be fair Manure were going to score against us but i didn't expect Sunderland to last week. Gabby has run out of steam and needs a rest end of. Maloney looks good when played up front and his form varies when played on the wing. We seem to rely soley on Young to give us any hope of creativity. the season is pretty much over for me, we should finish in the top half of the table but europe is gone for us unless we make the Intertoto. We need a massive summer from MON and on previous form he doesn't look like the guy to bring in masses of players quickly.

we were truely aweful in the first half, with our stupidly ridiculously small squad a few injuries or suspensions could kill us.
