    TBF 6th is a great season for us, it just feels disappointing because we have a sniff of something a little better. Although at this rate 6th is going to be a challenge.

    I know I shouldn't post this because I have been attacked for sticking up for the fans in the past on Twitter, but this does really grind my gears a bit. Villa fans do support their side, they just do, and to say otherwise is just not true. They will show their irritation if they feel that players are not putting in the effort or giving everything to turn games around. This is the same for all home crowds around the country, Villa is no different. IMO it is up to the players to perform, after all they are the one's being paid to play not the one's paying to watch football. I know that when it is your own club it always seems to be that your own fans are terrible, but that just isn't true. So my message to the Villa players and staff is do your best, do everything you can to win the game , and the Villa faithful will back you 100%.

    Tempo has been a problem since before xmas, and even the second half against Sheff Utd we slowed it all down. It's a problem, and it's a sign of a lack of confidence so they take that extra time to try and not make mistakes which of course they do. The players need to collectively sort this out because they are capable of much better, they know it, we know it.

    For me a loan that hasn't worked. He may not of got the gametime he wanted, but he hasn't, apart from a couple of occasions, done enough to warrant more game time. These things happen and not every player is suited the the Premier League.

    Really bad day at work, but looking on the bright side Bailey looks up for it. I have noticed that since Man City we just don't press the opposition quickly enough, and seem to want to play a very leisurely pace, something we didn't do for the first half of the season. Never mind, we were going to lose at some point at home, and maybe this will be the wake up call required for the rest of the season.
