    To compare to Jack is idiotic. Lad has been with the club since 8. One of us. “My club. My city”. Roundly backed by our fanbase when he was being a silly boy. Circled by our fanbase when he was deemed shit and a diver by all other club fans. Now he’s going to turn his back on us and the project at the first test of his resolve. And we as fans have got to bend over, crawl on our hands and knees thanking City for even considering us.

    I hope his fee is not clouding judgement. It is a sunk cost. Currently, Davis is ahead of him in the squad for me. 

    As @Xela says, loan would be best option for him to actually get the games he needs.

    Let us have some perspective, he turned 17 in January. Was not helped out by his goalkeeper. Fletcher very streetwise, Lamare will learn a lot from this. His positioning will improve. Physical attributes will develop with age also.

    I did like the comparison to Rui Costa. He certainly drives like Rui Costa did, particularly at Fiorentina. Better than some of the other comparisons I have come across.
