I was also getting “we are done” vibes but I really hope not. CM is still tremendously weak.

Naka, Luiz, McGinn, Sanson. Also want to develop Ramsey and Chukwuemeka. I wouldn’t say it tremendously weak. But maybe 1 more established CM. I want to see Ramsey and Chukwuemeka develop though. They can only do that with minutes. What is the point of developing the academy, if there is no room for opportunity.

I think Hourihane needs to be moved on. Love him for his left peg and Championship but best for both parties. I think he’ll want to go too. Just think his overall presence and athleticism is too weak for prem.

Ashley Preece (B’ham Mail) and Dan Bardell are 100% sure we are definitely not done in the market.

I agree with the sentiment but surely one thing we’ve learnt through this transfer window is they know sweet FA.

Let’s get Ward-Prowse and Cantwell over the line, plus a loan deal for a CB. We have addressed the main challenges we had when we didn’t have Grealish last season, now let’s address the issues we had with teams bossing our midfield.

I’m torn on project players (Cantwell) signing this season. JWP I agree upon. I think we need to give these academy prospects opportunities to develop. We have a good core than can support as this happens. Need a CB though as I don’t think Bogarde as backup is ready just quite yet.

What a greasy haired weasel. He’s used and abused this club who stuck by him at his lowest. All for him to push for a release clause. He knew full well what would come of it. The club did their best to maximise on his value under the circumstances

Yes mate. The club are completely blameless for me. Glad for the 100m now. UTV

The coward just couldn’t hand in a transfer request. He dangled the carrot at the club for as long as he could but knew he’d always be off. To dress it up as an act of love it utterly detestable. I hope he never comes back.

That statement too mate. Zero personality or anything personal. 19 years, Villa fan. **** me. What a disgrace. Shouldn’t even have bothered.

Did i miss something ? Basically said we bought 3 players to cover losing Jack and the attributes he brings to the team. I wouldn't rule out more signings, he's not going to admit we are now going all out to spunk another £70m on X more players. Its not how we work.

Yes. “Hey football clubs we desperately need to replace Grealish and have 100 million burning a hole in our pocket”

I think we’ll see CM, CB and GK in

Slightly disappointing news that it doesn't seem anyone else is coming in, so our net spend is a negative this summer. I didn't expect that.

Can we have a word filter on Grealish please? **** that word removed into Other Football.

Hmmm that worried me too. But is he going to say ‘we’ve got a lot of money to spend’

How does Kane bring in any revenue. That’s only four letters to upsell people on their shirts!

An it has the letter 'e', it's like people dont realise there is a worldwide e shortage

Well, for one thing, his neck and head are now 4 inches off centre so he must have done something wrong. And why is he being energised from the Enterprise after eating loads of Ready Brek?

Like you, for me It’s way way too soon to be logical for me. I’m emotional. He’s betrayed us. It is healthy to vent. All that videos like that do is piss me off even more. Maybe in time.

I’m not convinced we were trying to convince him at that point, particularly if this had been stitched up for months. Were I to give him the massive benefit of the doubt, then I’d say he perhaps wanted to make sure we were able to bring in decent players to replace him - so rather than convincing him to stay, Lange’s transfer updates gave him the green light in his head.  He probably also wanted to say goodbye to some of his team mates.

Jack Grealish cares about Jack Grealish. He was following Lange around like a lost sheep enquiring about Villa’s transfers. That is a very very very very big benefit of the doubt. most likely he was enquiring about whether the clubs have agreed to his transfer. In all the videos I saw he looked incredibly  uncomfortable around his team mates.
