    Probably best all the Jack fans leave this thread be, so those of us that dislike him can bitch and moan in peace. By the way, I don’t hate him for leaving. Fair play if you wanna play on the big stage, win every trophy and earn a **** ton of money whilst doing it. But don’t sign a five year contract, promise to stay at the club because you believe in the project and then put a snakey secret release clause in it and **** off a year later. That’s what I don’t appreciate. Oh and diving against us to get a penalty for City. Don’t appreciate that either. But that’s just me.

    People who are congratulating him tonight, have you forgotten that he dived against Villa this season to get Man City a penalty? He’s no longer one of us.

    I know we all see things differently, but I don’t think he was messing. He didn’t say it in a jokey tone or laughed after. I think he actually meant it. But then not everyone cares about the conference league anyway.

    I quite like the fact people getting angry and passionate in these threads. It’s so nice to have a season where something is worth getting passionate about rather than being bored by March cos the season is over.

    Brighton should be leading from the front in allowing a fellow underdog to get into Europe rather than playing to win so another sky 6 team can get into Europe. Brighton: my new team to hate.

    Well, in a twist of irony - driving there hasn’t been much better either. The m1 northbound was closed which has put an hour extra onto our journey. Apparently there was some sort of incident. Today is clearly not the day to travel anywhere by train, car or carrier pigeon.

    I’ll be at this game, and I haven’t seen us lose when I’ve been at a game at Villa Park since against Leeds in 2018 (and I’ve been to plenty of games in that time) so I’m hoping to keep up my 100% record.
