  1. What the club says, which is that we are for sale, nothing else.
  2. The same reason anything is put for sale, to see if there is any interest... Just because we are for sale doesn't mean we will be sold, far from it.
  3. Some posters are falling in to the trap of believing internet rumours over what the club have actually told us, its then the clubs fault for not making said rumours come to fruition. Classic Villa fan nonsense.
  4. Why is it a fiasco, because you believed what someone people on the internet who could be 12yrs old over what the club have told us?
  5. You sound surprised and even worse believed apparent ‘ITK’s’ Lerner said the club was for sale after the season had finished, shock horror it might actually just be that. Rather than thinking its been for sale for months and we have all the x number of owners readying and waiting. Both PF & PL should stay, we cannot just sack everyone in the current position, nobody would take the jobs as they would be gone as soon as we’re sold.
  6. But you said Ellison was buying us? Will you just keep changing the story each time your stories are proven wrong?
  7. I agree with this. I wanted Lambert out, but now with the massive uncertainty regarding the ownership issue, I'm beginning to wonder... At the very least Lambert should stay until the club is sold. Relegation, or even a threat of a relegation next season, could smash down our value another notch or three. I'm sure Lerner sees this risk aswell, which gives Lambert some leverage in negotiations with Lerner. If there's any truth to stories about Lambert wanting to secure his position even after a takeover, this is his weapon. In short: I'm hopeful and confident that Lambert will stay as long as Lerner is the owner, unless he walks himself. Exactly both PF and PL know the club in its current position, Lambert’s players etc he knows them and if it drags till the new season they might decent to play for him again along with a few players back. New owners will get rid of Lambert but in the mean time they should stay, i doubt he would quit and write of a mill or two. We cannot just get rid of the 2 main folk who run things around here, who will run it in the mean time? Nobody would take the jobs knowing they’ll probably be gotten rid off as soon as we’re actually sold. If this is the case Lambert will have his agent working overtime right now. He'll drop down to the Championship or go to Scotland rather than put up with that. If he knows he's gone once the takeover is completed he'll go now. Don't think cash will come into it for him. Probably over a mill, would you? Thats what i think the news will be tomorrow, they’ll both stay on in the mean time whilst we’re sold (hopefully soon)...

  9. Guess for the supposed news tomorrow... After talks with Lerner both PL and PF will continue in their roles during the transition period of trying to sell the club. Hence how the news will be fun for the papers, as most Villa fans will kick off. Wont be any news of the new owners, as there are not any yet... regardless of all the ITK’s which seem to have endless knowledge of all the meetings happening.
  10. News on Monday could be one of 4 things I reckon. 1. New owners 2. Faulkner gone.. 3. Lambert gone.. 4. Something dull, like Bent released... It's not 1 as it's simply too soon IMO, I'm going with 3 or 4.
  11. The Monday thing will be Lambert going, jumped or pushed is the question. Doubt it will have anything to do with any potential takeover as that process has only just started.
  12. If true what we're people expecting the new Man City that's just not going to happen. There was always the possibility that it would be to some jokers.
  13. Grass is always greener yeah? Oh shit..
  14. Does Eva get her Green’s out? Has that been confirmed, after their last appearance in 300 they deserve their own show.
  15. We won’t appoint a new manager until new owners are found, which could be well in to the start of next season and past the transfer deadline. How is that better than keeping the manager that at least signed the crap players and worked with them for a while?
  16. Yup if Lambert quits we’re ‘proper’ ****. As he would rather throw away his own money than try and start the season with no new players. If he is sacked then new owners might be on their way, so Lerner happy to pay him off.
  17. Lambert knows (finally) like all fans know, that if we go into next season with the same squad we will be relegated. A few possible scenarios... A. He quits, meaning Lerner has said no money i’m trying to sell us. B. He stays, no money we’re foooked. C. He is sacked, new owner is closer than anyone thinks (doubtful) Unfortunately i don’t think we’re massively down the line of finalising a deal to sell the club, ITK’s can spout all they like but its going to take some time, just hopefully before the end of August.
  18. I’ve got an interesting suggestion... We are actually starting from when Randy said we were up for sale, or more likely after we guaranteed premier league survival. No conspiracy, no x number of buyers lined up. If Lambert quits then that will be sure sign, as no doubt he’ll want some bucks regardless.
  19. Are we really though, its not like we’re debt free or anything...
  20. Yes - Aston Villa. Brilliant, before today?
  21. Has a premier league club ever been publicly for sale before?
  22. But but some ITK’s on a internet forum told me the club was sold..
