Loic Remy would be a great pickup in my mind, if he beats the gang rape charge. Could play anywhere in the attacking third, give us a bit more pace than andi. Gabby, benteke, Remy sounds like trouble to any side.

On all of the pages in these forums I continue to hear about not wanting a squad full of academy players; but we have two footballers that have legit skills on this squad in Ireland, and N'Zogbia, people want them sold off, so that Carruthers can get a crack. this is the only knock I had on Ireland yesterday, he had chances from 20 yards out to shoot the ball, instead decided to try to put it through to bent as he was getting mugged by two defenders. if you have an opening shoot the damn ball. this will allow bent to clean up a rebound.
