  1. £12m. One of the Norwich Tweeters said that we were paying £15m and that he felt £12m was about right. Bet he's sick now
  2. Just got in. My Chinese isn't bad is it Welcome Ross - it's a big club that you have come to.
  3. Is “Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooppppoooo” Chinese for “Contract agreed and OS tomorrow morning” Hope so!
  4. Alex McLeish - 'nuff said, William McGregor - the first Legend. Not players, I know, but possibly relevant to this part of the thread.
  5. Again.. Brexit happened! End of boring politics
  6. You promised to supply the source - at least, that's the way I read it.
  7. ...............still waiting . Or is it a very obscure source?
  8. And scores with both feet!.......and now rumours that we won't get him, anyway Think I'll have to stop watching these videos.
  9. I knew that lol. Just wondered what kind of a site it is (wind up,genuine or speculative?). I am now of the opinion that it is a 'Wind up,Genuine,Speculative' site and will ignore it in the future
  10. That's why I originally asked - "Is this a 'wind up' site"? Everyone seems to think that it is genuine.
  11. As I have mentioned in another topic - I am not 'Twitter literate'. Is this definitely Dr Tony Xia(and not a fake)?
  12. Is this a 'wind up' site? http://breakingfootballupdate.com/2016/08/aston-villa-considering-move-for-premier-league-veteran/3333/2 Reports are claiming Aston Villa are eyeing up a £3m move for Stoke City striker Peter Crouch.
  13. Quoted here, as well. If Newcastle can see something in him, maybe RDM can see the same thing (that we can't) http://www.expressandstar.com/sport/aston-villa-fc/2016/07/30/roberto-di-matteo-confident-aston-villa-will-keep-ciaran-clark/
  14. Nor an attack. Wish Ayew had been given a cheap Release Clause in his contract. Wouldn't attempt a shot and gave the ball away umpteen times.
  15. http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aston-villa-owner-tony-xia-11677891 The following is part of the above article:- Aston Villa owner Tony Xia has moved to explain some of his cryptic tweets from this afternoon. This Chinese businessman hit out at one of the claret and blues' rivals and encouraged supporters to boo them alongside him! Xia has now explained how the team he was referring to were not Birmingham City or Newcastle United after fans bombarded his Twitter account with questions. Gregg Evans then says:- When asked why and when they should boo, he made his point clear... I am not Twitter literate. Could someone explain how this article has explained his tweets and how "he has made his point clear"? This is not a criticism of Tony Xia or his method of communication - I just cannot understand what has been said and how it has been explained. Sorry to appear ignorant! - don't waste your time explaining, if it is not relevant to this thread.
  16. Well, I am more of an optimist - I read it as "We need to get rid of the dead wood. We will continue to sign new players until the window closes. 3 to 4 will be signed next week, when we will inform you of their names". That sounds nice and positive. I can sleep easier tonight.
  17. Sorry, just realised it was a sarcastic remark - and a good one at that
  18. I just hope that RDM has worked out which team and formation he wants to play. It's only feasible to keep swapping the players and formation for a limited time (see England:( )
  19. http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/aston-villa-live-bristol-rovers-11642719 1-1 (Taylor, 78) What a brilliant goal from Taylor. He turns two defenders, races towards goal and fires past Bunn. That’s why they love him so much here.
