  1. You'll think differently once you've had your initial session of Lambert's therapy. You'll need to retrieve that season ticket first mind. I have had 2 seasons of Lambert's therapy and I am now even more depressed than I was under McLeish's therapy. Yes. But you saw all this coming in the first place didn't you? Yes, that is why I chucked my season tickets at the end of last season as I have already mentioned. As a Villa supporter I do, unfortunately, still have indirect suffering from Lambert's therapy. There will be no relief from him until he gets sacked. . Surely with your perfect hind sight you should have asked for a refund the moment MON walked straight out the door.
  2. Or maybe people have a life outside of villa? That thought probably never even crossed his mind. Because it seems totally illogical that any body would even contemplate turning their back on the club they profess to love. If you don't wish to follow the Villa keep on walking & take your criticism with you.

  5. The only thing I have lost is my patience with an inept manager and his followers. That's because you still haven't booked your appointment for therapy with Paul Lambert. I could have sworn you joined the queue earlier in this thread. You really do need to see him urgently. I'll book you in for 3pm this Saturday versus Hull. Who knows you may even get to take a corner kick. No thanks. Chucked my season tickets at the end of last season and apart from a couple of games earlier this season I won't step into Villa Park again to watch the rubbish served up by Paul Lambert and his bunch of cheap low grade players. Then Paul Lambert really won't give a monkey's chuff then or lose any sleep over what you think about him now in any case & why should he? You haven't bought into him & he hasn't bought into you. To me that makes you both equal. Please feel free to visit Villa Park next time the sun shines but don't feel too disappointed if you can't secure a seat as season ticket holders get priority... What are you on? I have given £thousands over the years and even for Lambert's first season and believe me the sun doesn't shine much either in the sky or on the pitch. Get off with your 'I am a better fan than you' crap just because you have nothing else in your life other than a season ticket to potentially watch dross. Or potentially watch Villa achieve success which is when you would suddenly become interested again. Also. Give over with your rubbish about being a better fan. That's nonsense. My point is that if you are not prepared to back Lambert & you don't attend matches then that is no skin off Paul Lambert's nose & rightly so. You can spit your dummy out of your pram as often as you want but it won't be Paul lambert retrieving it for you. Further, This only highlights my point that fans can criticise Paul Lambert but they themselves cannot be criticised, Alluding & confirming to my earlier observation in this thread of fans having double standards.
  6. I don't hate him. If he has 100 mil to spend and gets us playing like Barca I'll gladly eat humble pie with a steaming turd from your avatar in the middle. Braggs bakery are working on it for you right now. Things might get Messi.
  7. Hence why I didn't mention them. Because it doesn't fit your POV. It doesn't fit anyone's point of view because no conclusion could possibly be drawn yet, thats why he's left him out. Jesus christ. It says them not him. JC

  11. Lambert hasn't lost the fans, the fan's have lost it. But thankfully not all of them.
  12. This thread proves that there are still many fans who back Paul Lambert. It is fair to deduce from this that he hasn't lost the fans. Plus, Lambo doesn't need to worry about some of his detractors on this forum anyway because apparently they never wanted him here in the first place. (Allegedly) Lambert in.
  13. I never saw your deleted post dounavilla but even if I did I would not have felt offended by it. Every body is entitled to an opinion. That's the beauty of VT. We all love the Villa & that's the bottom line.
  14. I agree totally with you. The fans are not responsible for the clubs demise. They are however responsible for the current negative attitude towards Paul Lambert out of their sheer frustration & that is my point. This negative attitude does not help the club one bit. Surely fans can see this? Why even deny it? It doesnt help the club but i dont think it harms it either in truth. The harm is being done by the out-of-his-depth manager, out-of-their-depth players and absent owner the fans being fully behind the players and manager for the past 2 years has hardly reaped any benefits anyway, as you like to have the last say on most matters and i don't have all day to discuss, that is my last contribution as no doubt you will respond with a cretinous 'joke', the 'take a bow' bollox or some other silliness unlike Mr Lambert you never fail to deliver exactly what is expected of you! Oh I don't know. I'm pretty sure that's the bailiff at my door.

  16. I just can't be bothered to argue. Oh please do.
  17. So what you're basically saying is Benteke should be manager ? I could go for that, Anything but this current cnut No what I am basically saying is that Ulver should be Manager.
  18. Everybody was disappointed who wouldn't have been? Paul Lambert more than anybody. It was just not meant to be. Weimann scored with practically the last kick of the game & perhaps with another 5 minutes who knows. Sunderland turned Man Utd over in 2 legs this season which just proves that the under dog can still prevail in these circumstances so it is nothing unusual. Just ask Tom Jones.
  19. Bradford had one corner kick at Villa Park & scored from it. Get over it & move on. They actually had 5 corners and scored 1. Yes correct. They scored off the one Paul Lambert took didn't they? Now don't be silly. If he had took it then he would have f*cked it up! oh yes. I remember now. It was you who took it wasn't it Pacbuddies?

  21. Bradford had one corner kick at Villa Park & scored from it. Get over it & move on. Do you actually think before you argue, you seem to bring up the most hilarious points and rebuttals. What has them scoring "once at villa park" got to do with anything? Is that all that happened in the two ties or did you bring that specific moment up for a particular reason? We had ample chances to see Bradford off in the 1st Leg at Valley Parade. Darren Bent missed a sitter & things could easily have turned out differently. So. Back to my main point. Cup shocks are not shocking & happen all the time.
  22. Cup shocks. Never heard of them before as they are only exclusive to Aston Villa aren't they? Colchester 3 Leeds Utd 0 Bournemouth 2 Man Utd 0 Wigan 1 Man City 0 etc etec etc I appreciate your desire to defend a certain manager at all cost, while provoking reactions from VT posters, but can you explain how your logic exactly works with the games you have quoted? Seeing as the three you have mentioned were from totally different era's with totally different clubs, with totally different managers and totally different circumstances. I have heard of comparing apples with oranges but never apples with aircraft carriers painted a bright shade of pink and a tendency to turn right each time it sees a whale I think you'll find they turn left actually.
  23. Bradford had one corner kick at Villa Park & scored from it. Get over it & move on.
  24. Cup shocks. Never heard of them before as they are only exclusive to Aston Villa aren't they? Colchester 3 Leeds Utd 0 Bournemouth 2 Man Utd 0 Wigan 1 Man City 0 etc etec etc I noticed you have named a total of 6 clubs there. We are talking about 1 club that has lost to 3 lower league clubs. At this rate ( with Lambert in charge ) there could easily be another 10 cup shocks ( if he stays another 5 seasons ) etc etc etc - How many cup shocks do you want me to list? There is absolutely nothing shocking about cup shocks & that is my point.
