The_Rev
Oh dear EA. Oh dear. You can still buy it of course.
VillaGoMarching
Any reasoning behind this? End of licence?
The_Rev
No reason given as of yet. If its a license thing then it should have been made perfectly clear at the point of purchase, not via a cheery note a month before they turn the game off. Also, if its a license thing will they be asking everybody who bought the game on console to send their discs back?
Chindie Posted May 2, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted May 2, 2012 This kind of thing is a mark against an all digital future.
Phumfeinz
Apparently not.
The_Rev
Yes. We accidentally wrote and published a very specifically worded message and never actually intended to close the game down. It was nothing to do with the massive amount of bad publicity we got yesterday at all. Honest guv!

Stevo985 Posted May 4, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted May 4, 2012 I think the funniest thing about that message is that it's so cheery. As if they're thinking if they act really happy about it no-onme will notice. I'm sure if the message was remotely apologetic people would have been at least a little less pissed off.
