mansonAVFC
So as the votes comes in here is how the VT XI looks: GK - Mark Bosnich RB - Earl Barrett CB - Paul McGrath CB - Olof Mellberg LB - Steve Staunton RM - Nolberto Solano / Merse CM - Ian Taylor CM - Gav McCann LM - Tony Daley FW - JPA FW - DwightYorke Subs: GK - Sorenson - bit a surprise to me that DF - Gareth Southgate MF - Andy Townsend ??? FW - Dean Saunders Utility - Gareth Barry This is the first time I have read this thread and I cant believe Alan McInally isn't in this team.He should definately be there instead of JPA

Goody
Yeah, I'd say 4th as well. McGrath and Olly together would be immense.
paddy
Here's a question - where do people think that squad would finish if they were in the current Premier League? I'd say fourth at best. Well I reckon some of those players might just be past it now, Earl Barrett, Bozzie, Yorke, Daley and Stan are hardly in their prime, I'd say relegation! Pelle
5th. One would like to say 4th or 3rd thinking that this team should be better than that we have today, so if this shouldn't finish better than 5th the one we have now don't stand much of a chance of reaching the CL. Luckily football never is that logical. Who's the manager, btw? Didn't we vote for a manager?
