GlobalVillan
Went to the Griffin last season, which is by their old ground. Thing is, it's a long walk to their new ground from there. Anything closer? Edited April 21, 2023 by GlobalVillan
Talldarkandransome
When I was driving back last week (not far from Brentford ground), I remember seeing some really nice pubs not far away. No doubt pricy ones and they looked quite posh. Can't imagine they'll mind a few Villa fans singing a few songs
spiezels
Chiswick High road has loads of nice boozers the whole way along. And all walkable / bus from the ground straight up 1 road. Roebuck packhorse and talbot the george IV are all a 2 min walk from each other and 5 min walk from Chiswick Park Station. or if you want to get down by the river get off at Hammersmith tube and walk to the river, there 2 pubs next door to each other. 5 min walk. The Rutland Arms Blue Anchor Again down same road to get to the ground, loads of buses or a longer walk. used to live near by, shit load of boozers round there.
choffer Posted April 22, 2023 VT Supporter Share Posted April 22, 2023 (edited) Some nice pubs on Kew Green. My usual spot in that neck of the woods would be City Barge in Strand-on-the-green, which also happens to be Ant & Dec’s regular haunt. Not sure if that makes it a recommendation to go or avoid though. Edited April 22, 2023 by choffer
