useless Posted April 22 Share Posted April 22 Reports from Sheffield say that we sold Archer for £9m, if Sheffield United survive we get an extra £9m to take the total fee to £18m, but if they're relegated we have an obligation to buy him back for £9m. This what their Chief Exec has been quoted as saying"Without going in to detail because there's confidentiality with it, a lot of what's been said about the deal isn't far away from the truth. I think it was a smart deal for us on the basis if we do get relegated financially it limits our risk.
