There hasn't been a change. Date formatting is picked up from your browser / OS settings. Stop pretending you're American 1 Link to comment

From the post below yours: There is nowhere I can change this, it comes from a setting on your browser. Do you have any browser extensions installed? 1 Link to comment

Do you have any browser extensions installed? Thanks Simon. It's weird, the browser I use normally has almost no extensions fitted, and the system prefs are for UK style dates. But your right, if I change to Firefox, then it comes out the right way round, so something's changed in my normal browser somewhere. Link to comment

On Mac, system prefs, language & Region and then drag "English (U.K.)" to the top of the list (or make it the only one in the list) and reboot, then Safari behaves as per that setting. 1 Link to comment
0 blandy Posted March 27, 2018 Moderator Share Posted March 27, 2018 One subtext note: I have an app to clean out cookies and old kelter on the Mac for if there are issues with a website and I suspect running that (Onyx) maybe reset the default language setting back to (US) English. 1 Link to comment

0 Tegis Posted March 27, 2018 VT Supporter Share Posted March 27, 2018 In firefox it's dependent on the locale setting in the browser. I changed it to swedish and the dates changed to 2018-03-27 (the correct way ) 1 Link to comment
