Post titles in quote notifications

This is a fairly minor issue, and I held off on posting it for a few days because I'm not entirely sure whether I'm imagining it or not.

For site notifications, there are two common ones, likes and quotes. When someone likes a post, it shows the name of the topic: "x liked a post in a topic topic name"

For quotes, it just says "X quoted a post in a topic", with no name. I noticed it earlier in the week, and feel quite (but not absolutely) sure that it used to include the topic name.

It happens on multiple machines (A couple of Windows 10 desktops using Chrome and Edge, and an Android phone using Chrome). I've cleared cache and cookies.

It's pretty trivial really, I'm mostly just posting out of curiosity about whether that functionality really existed

I have the same issue. Also a delay in notifications coming through.

Have you both cleared cookies and cache since the update last week?

@Davkaus it's been like this at least a month:

@limpid Possibly, either that or whatever broke it also affected historical notifcations, and not just new ones? I couldn't swear it has worked more recently than a month but I think it has, because it sticks out like a sore thumb now.

Yeah, it takes me to the post that quoted me. 

As I say, not the end of the world, it inconveniences me for about 2 seconds at most

I honestly can't remember it being any different. I've just read the changelogs for the last two releases and there have been no changes to notifications.

I suspect that it's a bug in the latest forum update, a few other people are mentioning it too, on other Invision powered boards that have been updated in the last week or so.We'll see if it mysteriously shows the topic name after an update in the future!

Yes I've noticed this and it's definitely different. I took it as just a result of the update.

Same as Davkaus, it's curious but not really an "issue".

 

Happens on multiple machines/browsers after cookies and Caches clearances.
