Dodgyknees
My girlfriend dropped her phone, it clipped the corner of her laptop and it shut down. She rebooted and now Chrome keeps crashing, it loads fine but the moment she opens a page or chooses to close one that opens, or go into settings, the whole computer crashed. Any ideas? Everything else loads and works fine. Edited February 4, 2014 by dodgyknees
dont_do_it_doug.
Have you tried installing it again? At a guess the hard drive stores information much like the human brain. If you took a hammer to your head you'd forget a few thing too!

Dodgyknees
Now when she boots up, after about 30 mins this comes up Then she closes it, then the ASUS live update comes up with a warning, she clicks ok and it reboots.. sometimes it says something about sorting windows features, other times it just reboots with nothing. ???? That looks like Asus oem crap. Much like Samsung **** Android up at times, OEMs butcher windows like there is no tomorrow. If you can, backup important stuff and reinstall the OS/change OS. You probably have a recovery option on your computer but that will put the same Asus crap on again, but at least you might get it working

Fingers crossed.
