  1. Jack's sulked around like a stroppy teenager all season. He's supposed to have a Villa heart, and claret and blue pumping through his veins. Therefore when he does get a chance you'd think he'd be busting a nut for the cause, which clearly he isn't

    Ditto Gabby

Either they start putting it in on the pitch when given the chance or they can **** off, just like anyone else.

It's all very well having talent, but if you have no desire then it means nothing. Absolutely nothing

Holy ***** seriously? We made around 99M in total revenue last season. We just had to pick the one season where our revenue would automatically double to get relegated didn't weYueW9F3.png

I'm pretty sure that's absolute nonsense. Our money from sky alone last year was probably that

But he wanted to leave so that really isnt  a option is it? I just dont believe people were saying he was that bad a signing on a free. I thought it was a coup of a signing at the time. Still think he is decent but he needs another leader CB next to him. Lescott and clark both are not

Yet both are easily as good as Richards at CB.

  4. The thing that drives me absolutely barmy about Traore is his love of standing still.

You never see him making a run off the ball, he's always stood rooted to the spot awaiting the ball. And then when he gets it, 90% of the time he'll go off on a run, then stop dead in his tracks. As if to say to the defender, i'm now going to ridicule you. Sadly he then largely does nothing with the ball.

Why can't he just run with the ball more and stop putting the brakes on ? we saw what happened when he did ...

    Moyes was the best choice.

    1. He didn't want the job apparently, and said he didn't want to leave the side he was with on TV

    2. Why would we have wanted a manager that's been sacked from his last two jobs due to doing a shit job?

  6. I still don't understand why he'd deliberately leave out our summer buys though? What point does he prove there?

He used Lescott, a summer signing. Even Sinclair was a summer signing that it seemed Sherwood did not want. Even if Lescott was a 'Sherwood-buy' excuse, I don't believe that none of the other summer who were fit but, but let out, were not 'Sherwood-signings'. Kmac went with the team he found best fit for the game. The only thing is Ayew not starting, but that can be viewed as him being better as a sub than a starter for now. Gana might have had a knock that made him train less, so he was a bit unfit. Who knows..?? These conspiracies are just too much.

I can't believe ANYONE really believes K Mac picked that rabble last night and thought it was his best available line up, absolutely NO chance. He did it to spite the board

  7. If you play a player as one footed as Clark on the opposite side you're asking for trouble. K Mac had right footed options in Okore & Crespo but clearly decided to **** us up by pairing Clark with Lescott. Utterly stupid decision

For me, Clark would start every week alongside Okore in the middle with Richards and Amavi as full backs. Pairing Okore and Richards together wont work either, you need a balance

As for the first goal yesterday, you'd have to ask why after 2 minutes Clark had to come out to left back spot as Hutton had **** vanished into thin air. Awful positioning from the off

  8. I was happy to give Tim some praise for his substitutions after the match the other night until i heard his interview

I assumed that he'd seen Lescott & Gabby have stinkers with his own eyes (and Clark in midfield) and decide on some tactical reshuffle. But after hearing him it seemed more of a 'i had to do it' rather than i thought the changes would make all the difference tactically

Clark better start at CB on Saturday, and Gabby better not be near the first eleven either IMHO anyway

I'd also sacrifice either Gestede or Sinclair from the side that finished the other night to put an extra body in midfield

Oh, Bacuna can sit one out again too, bloody awful again

  9. I hope both Gill and Grealish start against West Brom. Traore in for Sinclair or Gabby?

Gabby shouldn't be anywhere near the first eleven to my mind. Sinclair as a loan striker with Gil as the number 10, Grealish and Traore wide and Gana/Westwood in the middle

  10. Got to take the blame for recent defeats, due to his baffling substitutions. Yesterday, if Gil really was injured he should've bought Veretout on and strengthened the midfield to my mind

At that point we had a whole host of players doing absolutely nothing of note (Grealish, Sinclair, Gabby for starters)

Could've changed the formation and ground out the win no problem, but chose to go oddball and gift em the 3 points

  11. In the premier league, Grealish has played 1 game, Traore 20 mins and Gill 20 mins. These 3, whether all playing or a combo of 2, will have a big impact on our goal scoring this year.

Based on what though? Grealish has never looked like becoming a goalscorer, Gil hasn't either. Traore possibly may add a few, we can but hope so anyway. Because non of the midfielders look like becoming goalscorers either

  12. The difference is that Bent scored goals and nothing else, so if he wasn't scoring it was like playing with ten men. With Berbatov he does a lot more than just score goals.

yeah, for about 2 minutes a match he'll do a fancy flick or back heel. sadly in our team how would that be useful when we have no goal threat ?

  13. I think he'd get a few goals and be influential in a few wins so I dont think his signing is anything to worry about. I don't think he is answer we are looking for but as I said before he may do a job and take some short term pressure of Rudy and Ayew while they get up to speed.

He is unbelievably class though and I dont think legs are an issue, the guy barely ran when he was at his peak. He is not Pires Mark II, Pires was pretty pacy in his day! He is more like a later day Teddy Sheringham who did a job for teams deep in to the twighlight of his career.

Sherringham had world class players around him and wasn't being relied on to be the main goal threat. Big difference really
