  1. Is he still here???? Learner we're safe, get rid NOW I bet Kev Mac will get us a win against Norwich & Alan Shearer is a bellend
  2. Change your name to Gregos Traitorelli & go and support Athletico Kebab
  3. I think Blackburn are as good as gone now & i think Wigan will be safe. it's between us, qpr & bolton & i think it will be qpr i hope Spurs will be tired on weds & then after bolton knackered by Sat (3 games in a week) when we play them, hopefully we can get something out of the game, dare i say 3 points & we'll be ok
  4. I was chatting with a knuckle dragger about this senario yesterday, much to his delight. I asked him this question... "say the above wasn't possible & you had a straight choice between villa going down & blues staying down or villa staying up & blues coming up, what would you prefer" he said he would rather the villa went down & blues stayed down just so he could take the piss big style. I said "so you would put villa's decline before your own clubs success?" to which he replied "yes". typical noser more interested in us than his own club. he asked me what my answer would be if roles were reversed, i said "villa promoted to the prem & blues to stay up in the prem of course", "why" he said confused. "because i don't care about your shitty team i just want my club to to well, isn't that what every football fan wants"... er he had no reply to that...
  5. We're as good as down under McLeech, 3 games left & i don't expect we'll win any of them. Make the change Randy, put kev mc & sid in charge for the remaining games, it's worth the gamble. we've only won twice in 2012 we are 19th in the premier league form guide, only wolves are worse at 20th. B'burn 18th, qpr 10th, bolton 8th & wigin 3rd. on paper it don't look good & with the exception of qpr the other teams around us are used to dogfighting at the bottom of the table most seasons & manage to survive. We are not used to fighting for survival & i have seen no fight in this team under this excuse of a manager. i am soooo down at the moment i can't even face going to work, i'm soooo late this morning
  6. Well if i were Randy i'd be looking at Wolves and thinking getting rid of him now might not be the best solution. It's too late to sack the manager now IMO. Best to wait until the summer. (though i still dont think he will do it.) 2 weeks ago we looked like we would more then likely stay up, it's still looking like that really now. So how much of a gamble really is it? Things would have to go horribly wrong for us to get relegated now. The Wolves situation is on a lot minds at the moment (maybe Randy's too, who knows) but more often that not sacking the manager gives the team, caretaker manager & fans a massive lift. We look likely to stay up but we need points desperately & we aren't getting them (19th in the prem form table) what's the chance of not winning a single game of our last 5, who'd of thought Wigan would get 9 points from Plop, ManUre & Arse. things still could go horribly wrong for us. i'm not much of a gambler but i'd get shot of Mclueless now before we only get 2 draws from our last 5 games & drop into the Abyss
  7. He must have considered it, I posted a similar question a while back, surely sacking him now for a few million compo would be cheaper than the tens of millions in losses if we were relegated. Maybe he's prepared to ride his luck!!! Man, Randy must be a one hell of a gambler, I can see him at the high rollers table at Ceasers Palace in Vegas with $1 million chips in his hand thinking "red or black, oh i just can't decide" Or maybe he's not a high stakes gambler & just has complete blind faith in his dummy of a manager he's appointed. Or he's a sadistic crazy freak who gets off on all this shit!!!! i don't!!! Incidently don't clubs get more money depending on what position they finish in the league. if we finish say 15th & not 8/9th (as per Faulkner's prediction) then i wonder how many millions have been lost already?
  8. Another Monday looms & the working week starts again. i look forward as i do most Mondays to my little ritual of switching on Sky Sports mid-morning to see Randy has grown a pair of balls & sacked this idiot, one of these days it might just happen!!
  9. No no no no no! :bonk: exactly i can't understand why the pundits & press aren't on his & Learners back's, it's almost like they expect we should be this crap.
  10. lee dixon quote on MOTD2 "McLeish has done an alright job"
  11. Wasn't Stoke supposed to be a big one, a must win game... Thank god all the teams below us lost this weekend I really hope i don't hear this next month... "Norwich away, a must win game!!"
  12. i'm getting sick of this get behind the manager shite, get behind the team yes but back this fool no way. never wanted him in the first place but once he was appointed i was, like most fans i know was willing to give him a fair crack of the whip, but after nearly a season of him, he's done nothing to change my view of him, in fact it's worse now. He needs to go now & this is not a knee jerk reaction but something i've thought for sometime. He should have gone in Jan, but sacking him now is a gamble, it could go as Wolves or it could lift the team & fans to give us the confidence to get some results. i for one would like to gamble as i don't see our performances or results getting any better but i can't see Randy "cat got yer tongue" Learner doing it...
  13. as long as he's a better signing than N'Zogbia, Hutton & croak Jenus
  14. In online multiplayer of Call of Duty Black Ops & Modern Warfare 3 on the PS3 i would say it's about 90% villa & 10% blues judging by clan tags names like "AVFC", "SOTC" & "VTID"
  15. Being from the great Solihull I disagree. Loads of Noses, about 60-40 in Noses favour I reckon. I agree, lived in solihull for about 10 years & would say it's fairly even, maybe slightly in blues favour.
  16. Get randy to buy up all the shitty houses & flatten 'em to make way for more matchday car parks & better access to the ground... keep the pubs though
  17. I'd say Redditch is about 60/40 split in blues favour. the blues redditch supporters club meet at the local pub to me & the coaches pick them up from there on matchdays. But us Villians still give a good account of ourselves in the town. I grew up in south-east brum & would say that was about 50/50 I have friends out in worcester, malvern & gloucester way & apart from gloryhunters is villa all the way, no bluenoses
  18. embarrassed to be a villa fan at the moment, we are playing awful & everyone from us fans, to other clubs fans, the media etc can see it. i hope Randy was happy watching that spineless performance yesterday, if Man U was on form they would have destroyed us... the annoying thing is if we had a team playing like we were last year we would have beaten them. McLeish, Faulkner & Learner out
  19. i wonder if he ran MBNA as badly as this???? typical rich kid with money to burn, spunked a wedge of his daddy's money into villa & got his fingers burnt. now he wants it back!!!
  20. i'd like to know why this topic hasn't been locked, i posted a similar topic a week or so ago on whether Learner was still the right man for the job & it was locked after 1 reply??? so what gives? i don't get this site on times for what it's worth, i think randy is a decent enough bloke who loves the villa but is bored of his "plaything" now. he knows nothing about running a football club or football related matters & doesn't have enough football people around him. it wouldn't surprise me if once the "books are balanced" he will walk away from villa
  21. What is a badly run clun then? After our best season in years we were able to build on that by selling our best player for the 2nd season in a row and not reinvest that money as we were in a mess financially. For reasons unknown our manager walked out and we then spent some time looking to finally end up with houllier. He pissed off the fans at anfield, pissed off senior players, threw away the fa cup and had the villa pr people begging journalists not to print certain comments. We also went into the 37th game of the season still not mathamatically safe from relegation. Houllier then left and we were publicly snubbed by martinez, offered mclaren and interview then withdrew it and finally ignored the protests of many fans and gave mcleish the job after his 2nd relegation in 2 years. Our 2 best players were sold for the 3rd summer in a row and once again we weren't able to bring in decent replacements and on top of that we had the pr bullshit from the club about trying our best to keep young and downing and imagine what mcleish could do if backed. Thats a well run club? He's had 6 years, spent millions and actually is in a very similar situation to when he arrived. spot on, this club is a shambles
