Indeed.... At the moment we are building the squad to a level where we have competition for places with a group of players that want to play for the club, hopefully for the next 3-4 years we can have a core with the likes of Okore, Baker, Westwood, Lowton, Weimann, Delph/Sylla, Helenius and any others we may go for.. I don't think we will keep Benteke past this season, unless he flops a little which could happen... Exciting times UTV!

Just seen this... he's tweeting about "mates" who are joining clubs.. Following 1 person and no Followers himself.... Rather dubious.... Lansbury is a good little player though!

Stop it. He hasn't got one thing right. Chill its a speculation thread. Would it make you feel better if i said: Word on the street is we're looking at a player called Dennis Praet. If we got Dennis Praet It would add a proper CAM to the team who could dictate the play, he's a special little talent!

It's not a case like before of signing "first team" and "back up" players... All the players we sign are in the mix for a starting place should they train well and play well in Pre season.... Apparently MOMS (My Old Man Said) reckon that we will end up with Jed Steer as a back up goalie but its now gone to a tribunal to decide the fee for him. Wonder who will get the number 7, 9 and maybe even 10 shirts this season... (Take it Guzan will get the number 1 jersey once Given goes?)
