I think PL has asked for these players to be signed before the start of July so he can take them on pre season tour so they can gel with the rest of the team. However I think he will also sign a few late on that are already english football experienced players. I expect cresswell to sign towards the end of the window. Remember there's over 2 months left yet so I expect at least 4 more signings!

I think we are still in for him but will not go above 8m and 50k a week would be out of our new pay structure. If PL doesn't want him he would of publicly said, using our club as an excuse to raise some competition for a player is wrong and our club would of put a stop to that.

So amazing business from Lambert. If he can trim £15m off the yearly wage bill and get £6m for Bent then he will have some money to spend.

And 3 tickets travelling from London Victoria to Southampton Coach Station leaving at 10pm on Sunday 28th Feb and arriving 12.10am on Monday 29th Feb. All tickets are with National Express and can be brought and used individually or as a group. I brought the tickets for myself and my cousin but have now decided to drive so dont need them anymore. Right now we have 6 first-team players(when fit) who are 30+ and a few round 28. The media keeps saying we're a youthful side. It's horseshit. With your suggested signings we'll have to outfit the whole team again in 2-3 years at what expense? Upson has god 4/5 good years left in him yet, Warnock has 5/6/7 years 3 of the players we have already signed and campbell and niell would be free so no expense. We might not have a youthful side as our starting 11 but we do have some very good young prospects.

Ok so we need players, and we have been linked with just about everyone but i just wondered who everyone thought we will actual sign before the close of the window? MON said ages ago he wanted 5 players and that was after downing signed, also wanting to replace anyone leaving. So that to me means he will sign 3 players before the close of the window. I personal think after todays Upson news, if 12m is the correct bid then we will get him. I also think Warnock will be a Villa player by this time next week for around 6m And thirdly i think we will sign Sol Campbell and Lucas Niell on free transfers. Shorey and Harewood to leave, and then on Deadline day i expect MON to have loads of late bids rejected and us to not sign anyone else. Im personally dont think this will be good business except for Upson and Warnock but at least getting these players in is better than nothing. How many players do u think we will sign?

ive gone with 8th-10th aswell, we just dont have the strength and depth to keep us near the top, especially with the europa league this season. 3-4 ore signings might change my mind, but untll that happens i really think we will struggle.
