I love the Saw films and will hopefully be going to watch it on the night of release. Long may they carry on I say.

I thought Steve Sidwell played very well tonight and his performance was underrated. He picked up a lot of loose balls and made a couple of important headers. One which automatically psrings to mind was back defending and got an important header away. He did lack anything extra but i thought he picked the play up a lot and would even say he played better than Petrov. Also thought Cuellar had quite a good game but went unnoticed.

I have the G1 google phone and find it the best phone i've had yet. Quick internet, emails and the rest of the shizzle. Drains the battery quickly mind.

Especially as I had 3-0 and Gabby to score first. Oh well had a tenner on it too so got some money back.

Was really pleased with Dunne. Was dominant in the air and looks as if he will be a great leader. Wasn't particularly pleased with the performance from the centre midfield.

Just missing a match winner IMO. Then I'd be absolutely chuffed with the squad going into the new season.

Got it tactically spot on. We kept hold of the ball, looked for gaps and hit them on the break and on the deck. After Carew hit the second and after a wee fight back from rapid we took control again and looked the most likely to hit a 3rd. If it aint broke.... STRONGLY agree. I think MON got it completely right. The only problem we had was our defence. We were missing an experienced defender who has a bit of pace and a leader. But guess what... Looks like he is about to sign one in Richard Dunne. Im sure an awful lot of Villa fans are going to be angry and no body likes losing but I will feel so disappointed if MON takes a lot of critiscm for this, and i feel everytime something goes wrong the finger will be pointed at MON. He is trying his best and thats all i ask from anybody wearing the claret and blue. So i hope every1 continues to get behind the team.

Same could be said of Carew. Just what i was about to say.

Shorey had a good game IMO.

Funny how there is a 100% mood change since the Anfield match.

I think this is more the team and formation he will use for home matches. I think away matches he will use the same sort of team - formation as at Anfield. I am BEGGING for Carew to have a good game tonight!!

I work in a call centre for Liverpool football club and my God I hope we beat those bastards. Would quite enjoy going into work knowing we beat them if it should happen.

I personally think we are a much better team with Roe-coker. Far more hard working and moves off the ball farmore than Barry or Petrov ever did. Surprised he hasn't played more MON usually is a big fan of hard working footballers.

Heskey has wasted a glorious chance there. No way should he be getting offside in that position.

Because he is an exceptional talent who is going to be a big, big player for us. That's why. He has obviously came here and impressed - he slotted in just fine against Fiorentina. He has played 45 mins of Premiership football. Give him a chance. Seconded. Desperately need to sort out our defence though. Get cuellar and shorey out and bring in someone who can defend properly.
