I remember people laughing at Spurs when they had to play 4 full backs, looks like it’s our turn. No point feeling sorry for ourselves, we’ll just have to get on with it.

We don’t have 4 fullbacks though

I’d be f’in annoyed if we allowed Coca Cola to have a meeting with Ratcliffe at VP.
If it is for us, shirt sponsor? , you’d expect they’d be paying big bucks for that, but knowing our luck the PL would stop advertising sugary drinks

  3. So low on confidence atm. Start of season he was placing his shots into the corners. His shot today was shocking.
I reckon next year he’ll be quality. But needs some tuning up

  4. I drive to most games, unless having a few drinks. My friend wanted a couple of drinks today so contemplated getting the train. Only to find how bad Sunday service is. Last train from Moor St to Shirley was at 6:30, meaning that if I wanted to get that I’d have to leave the game early. So of course I drove. So the point I’m making is even if it gets easier around the ground, WM travel have to change as well, which may be harder to go.

In another year or two he'll start to lose some pace so will have to learn a bit more to read the game just like Kyle Walker has to.

Kyle Walker is still one of the quickest in the league

He showed a lot of disrespect to us as a club.

If your wife renewed her vows to you and then you found out she was on Tinder looking for better, would that be ok?

I don’t think he showed us disrespect at all.
As for the wife analogy, surely a more fitting and accurate analogy. Is you look to move to an employer who pays more and wins more awards.

  7. You can see what England want to do defensively and once they get it right it could be very exciting to see. Still work in progress though. I think Cunningham-South could be vital moving forward in this structure, you can see why he has been fast tracked through.
Theo Dan makes some excellent ground ball in hand, if he improves his line out, at some point George is going to come under a lot of pressure for that hooker place.

  8. If that’s the other way round he gives the penalty try.

All England this half, although still not looking amazing in attack.
Mitchell had a good second half

  9. This ref in the England game, seems very quick to penalise the English.
The penalty try seemed very harsh as not sure they were getting the ball there.

Credit to the Welsh they have certainly come out to play heads up rugby.

What I have always find stupid and it happens across all teams, is when the calls “use it” but then allow the scrum half to caterpillar it back for ages.

  10. I said it before Chelsea signed him, but gutted we didn’t get Madueke. Looks such a talented player, he moved Chelsea forwards and up the pitch so much on Weds

I have to agree for once, the atmosphere was poor last night, myself included.  We started ok with quite a few chants in the Holte but quickly faded.

I’m a season ticket holder in an area where I recognise everybody even if I don’t know the people personally and last night 80-90% of the regulars weren’t there and it was people I’d never seen before, did others on here get that in other areas of the ground?

The reasons for myself, just very tired and a bit unwell but couldn’t be bothered last night and that’s not like me.  Then when the team were pretty much awful and Chelsea were really good it obviously didn’t change my mood.

Very odd night.  The players couldn’t get the fans going and the fans couldn’t get the players going.

Yep near me in the upper holte a lot of faces I’d never seen before

  12. Man City/Liverpool will guaranteed get less than everyone else despite doing it more. And let’s be honest, even if they do give out blue cards they can’t count to 10 minutes anyway. Look at last night as an example, there had been loads of stoppages second half, some pretty lengthy, yet they add 4 minutes on. This is just another rule to favour the sky clubs

0 minutes when 5-0 up v Sheffield United don't seem to indicate to me he's just going to get thrown in v Man. United.

Shame he was cup tied as he'd have probably come on tonight.

I never said against Utd, but after that we have some perceived easier games. Cash’s confidence is so shot that we may need to see Kaine play
