Tapsoba would be my pick, always rated him and he's still only 25 so great age to get prime years from CB.

Hopefully we give Mings a chance when he returns but given his age and seriousness of the injury it's probably a case of him losing a yard of pace and so it will be hard to continue to be effective in Emery's system. We'll see.

If we do have to replace him then Jonathan Tah's game has been enhanced by Xabi Alonso just like Mings has been by Emery's presence. Despite being around for decades seemingly he's actually 27.

So those are two very solid players off the never ending Leverkusen conveyer belt although Frimpong is more obvious link.

Cash would actually do pretty well in the Bundesliga with the general style so wonder if he's interested in playing abroad? You'd think so with playing for Poland and I remember about 18 months ago there were some links to Atletico Madrid but they randomly signed Matt Doherty instead.

I think we’re linked to Palacios in Jan very briefly and of course Frimpong. Wirtz would be absolutely amazing in our system under Emery and would take us to the next level, but he’s probably a long way out of our reach. Good shout on the cbs

Opheem has been awarded a second Michelin star.  Only 22 restaurants in the UK have 2 and I doubt many outside of London. He's great for the city is Akhtar.

Fantastic eating experience, I can see why it’s got the 2 stars. 3rd MS restaurant I’ve been to and by the best, only one I would return to.

  3. Credit to O’Neil they looked an absolute shambles in the summer getting rid of the manager, but he’s gone in and done really well there.

I’m certainly not saying they didn’t deserve to be sacked, but Carragher spat at a girl. That’s another level.

Carragher is a horrible twunt, how he’s held in such esteem by Sky I have no idea

  5. I thought we could have shown caution to the wind and start Finn Smith with Fordy there to come on last half an hr. On this performance that would be even more justified, Ford doesn’t look fully fit or match sharp

The gap in the levels between Ireland, France, compared to us is now largely down to the standard of the club competitions. The English teams are so much worse, largely because of the salary cap.

We have to have the salary cap though, it’s not sustainable to allow excessive spending. We’ve lost so many clubs recently.

What they should allow is players abroad to play for England.

  7. It’s not the best start by England, but we are certainly trying to be a lot quicker at the breakdown. It’s a learning curve but will be worth it (as I type we score).

tbh, he's a good mid table right back i think, he is prob worth 25m, maybe 30m if a team really wants him.

I don’t see anyone paying that

I'm not having he dodged Joshua, a fit and focused Fury beats AJ every day of the week, imo. He beat a better version of Klitschko than the one AJ fought. He beat an unbeaten Wilder with an offensive masterclass, twice, may I add. Now you're making an assumption that he's dodging Usyk, implying the cut is what, not real?

Boxers get cut in sparring all the time. Azzez was injured in the build - up to the Buatsi fight, Smith was also injured in the build - up to the second fight with Eubank, yet there was no suggestion anyone was ducking anyone.

I don't think Fury gets anywhere near the top heavyweights of all time, but he's certainly in the top 3 best British heavyweights of all time. Lewis and Fitzsimmons, maybe get ahead of him, although a prime Bugner was no mug especially when you consider his resume.

I agree that he’d beat AJ, but neither party wanted to fight each other, and for me both made excuses around it and blamed the other. Fury setting ridiculous unachievable deadlines was to ensure the fight didn’t happen.

I was never convinced this Usyk fight would go ahead

    Absolutely monster start for them.

they’re dragging them all over the place and making France look so slow getting to the breakdown.

Yep if they keep this up throughout, no team are getting near them in this tournament and they’ll get the slam comfortably
