Looks like another trophy to put in their trophy cabinet this week.
The "we took 5000 to Bolton on a Tuesday night" cup
Is a good away following tbf for a team fighting near the bottom got to be honest
-
ffs Ipswich, also Barnsley seem useless, can see sha possibly getting a point at Bolton, Monk may save them jammy gits

What did i say? I told you was a banker hull loss. I knew they would lose that one.
It's the turning point now I think for them.
I always said Barnsley burton and sunderland for the drop
Fair enough.
Im not sure it’s the turning point for them though, they’d need to win about 4-5 games to stay up.

Pathetic performance again. Anyone on about the snow that’s such a poor cop out Bolton had to deal with it too, we got bullied and looked like a bottom half team playing for nothing. Embarrassing.

What a let down hull are, just watched the highlights blues could of won by 5, wtf? Also not happy Jota getting two and blues dominating like that, it will give them confidence, I really thought hull would do them over.

Indeed.
If we beat Bolton at the weekend, I’ll be straight on a Coventry City forum to wind them up about it.
But that don’t make sense unless you have a hatred for Coventry and Coventry lost to somebody else? Why would coventry care that we beat Bolton? This wolf man obviously has a hatred for Villa so came here to mock us for losing to QPR or am I missing something

They are beating Hull thats a banker for me. They will be fresh after not having a game this week.
Sorry but totally disagree with this. Hull score goals SHA don’t. Hull are in strong form SHA ain’t. Hull are favourites imo.

I think blues are pretty much down, if they don’t beat hull next game (which I think they won’t) it’s game over really.
i just hope Monk doesn’t stay with them in league one as he could do a good job imo.

Pathetic performance, rubbish crowd, killed our momentum aswell that result has, I don’t think we will get up through play offs. All in all a terrible evening
-
Unfortunately it’s a good appointment for them. I think they’ll still go down though but I believe monk will stay and rebuild from seeing his interview.
-
Really hope it’s not true as I think Monk is decent, even if they did go down he would do a far better job than Cotterill of rebuilding them to come back up, Gary Monk could do far better I don’t see why he’d go there, surely it’s BS.
-
Monk is linked with the job I hope this is just rumours as he’s a decent manager imo

Have to say we were very lucky to get a point against Preston, play anything like that tomorrow and I think we will lose.

A great watch.
Fair play to the lad at 02:35 though showing respect about Bruce’s dad, still it’s stupid that one lad near the end on about them hitting the post we also did twice.
-
I have to say we totally dominated that game but they did defend well imo, the way we played today would of ripped most teams apart, I will say though I expected more of a threat from blues they offered little, I do think the lads really put a shift in for Bruce though I don’t think there was any stopping us today, performance of the season for me and so glad it came on derby day!
-
Best performance of the season for me.
We played with tempo, precision, flair, defence were solid, midfield bossed the game, the attacking was so fluid and the energy put in was insane you could tell the players wanted to do it for the manager.
I actually have to say blues defended very very well, the way we were playing would of blew most championship sides away by half time! We had to keep going and going to open them up it took two great strikes to beat them, no chance will they go down in all honesty.
What a day! That was the complete performance for me!
I believe we are going up after that today!

IMO Grealish is technically our most gifted footballer in the entire squad by a mile, if he can work on he’s strength and attitude more he could be an England regular in the future, IMO of course. Amazing ability.

Thanks for the input @fifamad. I have little knowledge of their squad tbf.
To be honest it shouldn't matter either way. We should be beating these no matter what they cobble together.
No worries mate at least you don’t call me a villa fan because I know other teams squads, maybe I’m a fan of the entire premiership too and half the championship clubs as I know their squads also
I agree we should beat them comfortably to be honest, we are in strong form, we are at home and we simply have the stronger team.

fifamad, are you a blues fan
Yeah you got me mate

They started 4 first teamers to be dead on. It’s still a good outcome as they took it to extra time then got smashed

They did play a strong side only missing I can see is maghoma (just coming back from injury ) gallagher and kleftiveld.
but regardless we should be up for this the players I would like to hope will not have forgotten the abuse they received from the greasy blose fans at the sty
lol. Players missing from their first team were Colin, Grounds, Kieftenbeld, Davis, Gallagher, Maghoma and Boga.

I just saw the following names taking part which I thought had become part of their first team/subs: Stockdale, Dean, Roberts, N’Doye, Boga, Jota, Adams & Jutkiewicz.
Adams & Jutkiewicz are not in their first team, N’Doye only played 45 minutes and Boga only played 30 minutes.
Please tell me when to stop laughing at SHA
