Not on employment grounds, unless he is claiming we've discriminated based on a protected characteristic, or have directly breached contract in some way (not employment issue per se). You don't have the right to claim unfair dismissal (constructive or otherwise) until you've been employed for two years... I mean I'm assuming he's an employee as if he's on a service contract (which wouldn't be strictly legal) - other issues arise. It seems unlikely he has a case.

Monk Leeds was one of most long ball teams about

He also dismantled Swansea passing fame

“On 11 May 2015, Swansea recorded the double over Arsenal, making the Swans only the third side in Premier League history to have won home and away against both Arsenal and Manchester United in the same season.[30][31]The Swans ended the season in eighth position with a record points tally.[32]

I think he’s a good manager, easily more ability and forward thinking than Bruce. I think others also agree but won’t say so as he’s our rivals manager. Agree to disagree.

Which makes it even funnier if we were to finish above them. 11 games is nithing. Cotterill didnt look bad in 11 games for them and look how that turned out.

Yes but that’s because Cotterill is a woeful manager. If we do finish ahead of them I agree that would be hilarious, if we can hang on to some of our decent players, bring in green, Davis etc and get rid of Bruce we would have a chance, I just think Bruce needs to go, I have no confidence in him, we have some good young players but he’s root one football is hideous.

But you don’t know do you - until he meets the club on Monday nobody knows .

his intention may be to stay now but on Monday he may find the position untenable .

Why would he walk? As stated he has a win win situation, if he struggles (which I believe he will as he’s a below average manager) he will just blame the circumstances, if he flukes a decent season he will look great, he’s in a handsomely paid low pressure job, why walk?

Why would he walk, easy job on big money. No difficult expectations and a load of ready made excuses if it doesn't work out.

    That’s why I knew he wouldn’t walk ?

Don't care in the slightest. They are doing miserably poor so they dint have a lot to shout about either.

They are not in massive debt and being threatened with administration?

If you are talking about last season yes we were better and they struggled but if you are being honest Monk did well in he’s 11 games there, last season is done & dusted, they have a better manager than us (who will have pre season with them and a whole season not just 11 games) and no big debts so if you weigh up the positions now with both clubs ahead of a fresh season I hate to say it but they are in a better situation. I would swap Monk for Bruce in an instant.

    I did say he wouldn’t walk ?

comment not directed at you but I said in this thread he will stay and few were saying no chance

P.S I don’t think it’s a good thing him staying as I don’t rate him whatsoever but I just knew he wouldn’t walk.

Remember chanting "the blues are staying down and they're going **** bust"? I do.

Of course they're going to take the piss.

Suppose you are right we did, and as others have said guess we will just have to put up with it for a bit, have to say it does feel weird being the one on receiving end, don’t like it much, am used to laughing at them losers.

  9. I just don’t understand why we offered players like Hourihane, Bree etc such ludicrous wages when 15k p/w would of been enough, absolutely insane wages they are on ... and Jedinak 50k p/w.... WTF is going on behind the scenes? It’s like someone purposely trying to destroy us from within!

Bruce is very unlikely to stay unless there's a takeover. He's on a hiding to nothing here, and outside of Villa forums, he's well thought of. He'll be a name on the list for any Championship or lower half PL team that need to recruit a new manager.

If other clubs come sniffing then I think he may well leave but if not I believe he won’t walk. I might well be wrong, just a feeling I have.

  11. If I was working somewhere that pays me gigantic wages to do very little I wouldn’t have any trouble sleeping or feel any guilt. I’d think I struck very lucky and the company is stupid.
