Horrendous performance but we won again, Bruce is a very very lucky manager, he’s the master of playing absolutely dogshit while winning. Unfortunately I don’t think he will carry on getting this lucky results wise playing truly awful football. 

I don’t see Monk walking tbh he fully committed himself recently. The Owners wanting to bring their own people in happens in business. If another club eventually came for Monk and offers more money yes he’d go but that’s the same for most managers, it’s all about money in football these days. 

We were very lucky, totally robbed Wigan. Poor performance again. Can’t complain with 6 points from 2 games though, Bruce is a poor manager but very lucky. 

I think he’ll do well for SHA tbh, there central midfielders are woeful.

I’ll be really gutted if this deal is off, best full back in the league easily imo, huge blow if rumours are true, really think this would of been a great signing.

Bogle's an interesting one. I remember a few years back when he played for Wigan v us a few were touting we should sign him as a cheap targetman striker. Dosen't really score goals but guess he'll be a plan B option off the bench.

Just looked him up he actually has quite a good scoring record.

It’s a weird one because I thought we were poor just hull were even worse. Still a winning start which is good but we need to improve massively.

Well seems like monk is going nowhere, he says he loves the club and will see them through any adversity. I think they’ll be midtable under monk, he’s a good manager imo.

Unfortunately I see him sticking it out there as it wouldn’t look good for him to jump ship at another club yet again.

Just looked on the team sheets it was basically their youth team apart from Stockdale and Grounds who they were trying to move on. 

Still I think if they don’t sort their embargo situation they will struggle this season.

I believe we were extremely unlucky in some games, I remember the 2-2 against forest under matteo I have rarely seen us dominate a game so clearly, we played brilliant football, I still think given time matteo would of done better than Bruce with all the money Bruce spent along with the time Bruce has been given. Bruce is a severely limited one root manager, his style aswell is disgusting to watch.

I agree but the hatred between the two is very strong, it’s a good rivalry, like I said I enjoy it.

Di Matteo is a better manager than Bruce, had us playing very nice football and if he was given the amount of time Bruce is being given I think he would of done well. There I said it.

tbh I think the obsession goes both ways, it’s a strong rivalry, I like it 

While I didn’t really think Henry was the right man to replace Bruce I want him gone! Can’t stand he’s anti dinosaur football tactics. I have zero excitement for the coming season just want the guy gone! 

Personally against the idea of appointing Henry, he was a great player but I think he is an awful pundit, talks complete nonsense and he’s an unproven manager, just a big name. I also like many others want Bruce out but I believe it would be a silly gamble appointing Henry. 

I want Bruce out but not for Henry as the replacement, he was a great player but listening to him as a pundit I think he’d be a poor manager he talks absolute garbage, would just be a name, novelty would wear off after a few months. Guess I’d rather Bruce stay then for now, unless we get someone else lined up. 

Does this mean we don’t have to sell our best players? I guess we still in a mess with ffp or does this investment clear that?

I agree with you both Grealish is a better player than alli, brings a lot more to the team. 

Might get stick for saying it but I have to be honest I think the home kit is dreadful, our away one is below average at best, worst kits we’ve had in a while, just my opinion.
