We made some simple errors today, mainly Friedel and Warnock. Warnock gave away a needless free kick and Brad didnt cover himself in glory what so ever. Bannan was trying to hard today, and we looked toothless at times, Blackburn seemed to be one step ahead of us. We need the transfer window badly. I think that the edition of Pires isn't a bad thing, but he isn't going to take us to the next level, the club have missed a trick. After 4 good seasons we are back to mid table DOL days. The only team is Borrusia Dortmund, i have been watching them since 1987, when my dad was posted there with the Army, since i joined the Army i have always followed them and my father-in-law (wife is German) is also a BVB fan, the stadium is the biggest in Germany, the tickets are cheap, they serve beer, atmosphere if off the head, especially when we play Schalke 04. Loads of Brits, squaddies go as there are still alot of based not far from Dortmund, get urself ova and get some Wartesiners (wobbly) down ur neck while watchin BVB

Germany will win, they are so determined and concentrated, and the support here in Germany for them at the moment is unbelievable, my wife is German and my 2 girls are half German, so at least my house will be happy come next Sunday, they have shown us and the rest of the World how to play tournament football, they may not have all the superstars, but they have a great team ethic, we can learn from them, and they're record in competitions is awesome

I'm worried about the way things are going in England at the moment, Premier League with so many foreign players, shambolic showing at the World Cup, no decent English keepers (maybe Joe Hart) maybe we need to trim our season down, for instance Reduce Premier League to 18 teams= 34 league games, allows winter break for 3 weeks. Only one cup competition, Carling Cup is very mickey mouse anyway. Allow England team more assistance to meet up and bond together, enable us to at least reach the semi's in a competition. The game in England needs a sort out, at the moment the salaries are spiralling out of control and Man City are not helping matters by threatening clubs with money, i am gradually becoming less interested in the Premier League, and i can see that in the not to distant future that the bubble will burst, and the money will dissapear No player is worth 10,000 a week, let alone 220,000 that Man City are paying Toure. :x
