    Looking back at last season the honeymoon period for Lambert is over. Results speak volumes, style & performances don't put points on the board. 2012/13 Lambert PL Games 7 W 1 D 2 L 4 Pts 5 2011/12 McLeish PL Games 7 W 2 D 5 L 0 Pts 11 Admittedly the season wasn't successful and we struggled, however we haven't improved and the squad is wafer thin, with too much inexperience. Bent needs to start repaying the fee paid for him & Gabby is not a prospect anymore. If Lambert doesn't get at least 3 points from the next couple of games he should be looking over his shoulder at the vote of confidence.

    I cannot believe what i had to watch yesterday, the defence were half hearted, the third goal showed that, i couldnt believe how it slowly rolled towards the goal. This is an example of our season. We have done nothing good this season, the players look like they are going through the motions. The PL has run its course for me, Aston Villa don't deserve a place in it next season. We lack any fight from the manager to the players.     Saving grace at the moment is that the bottom 4 are losing and drawing and we are still 8 points a head. We need something from the Man City game, then Wigan and Blackburn away followed by Fulham, it's in our own hands. UTV
