  1. The attendance for today was 37,460 for a class a match! I think the stats about that speak for themself, people (us fans) are losing faith and fast, i couldn't make it today and had to settle for watching it on sky. To be honest i'm glad i didn't, i can honestly say i won't be going again whilst this clown is still in charge of our team. It's depressing enough having to take the flack of my mates about how bad we are now but to listen week after week the sky pundits slagging us off for our negative tactics, lack of bite/punch and complete lack of fight or desire is the nail in the coffin for me. Then to listen to our manager saying how we had good possesion blah blah **** blah and how liverplop are so superior to us in every department is quite frankly showing how deluded the **** imbecile clearly is! I'm done with our current set up and wont be wasting any more of my hard earned on this pathetic half arsed attempt at running a football club.
  2. I went for Guzan purely because i couldn't bring myself to vote for anyone of the outfield players. Not one of them can honestly merit a rating above four maybe five in any of the tabloid ratings tomorrow. That is honestly up there with one of the worst home performances by any team of all time in the prem history. Four worse are our last performances against spurs and man utd and bolton home against us last week. I only say the bolton performance because we are bad at the moment, really bad so they must be SHITE to make us look anywhere a decent team!
  3. I voted 13th-17th purely out of optimism not out of belief! IN the topic about the way we play like sha i have for the first time asked for the manager to be sacked. This current team of ours playing the way we are playing has a VERY realistic chance of getting relegated. Bloton cant surely keep playing as badly as they are? Wigan keep picking up random results as do Wolves. Blackburn find themselves in a very similar situation to us but without the few extra points already on the board. So do i think there is anyone apart from the teams mentioned that are worse than us at the moment? NO! Sunderland have a new manager who we know will get them motivated as its what he does best. QPR may be pulled into the mix but i expect them to spend quite heavily under thier new ownership in the january window. Swansea, Norwich, Fulham and Everton i think are strong enough and play the right way not to get dragged into it so that just leaves WBA which i think under Woy Hodgson will be fairly safe. SO YOU COULD SAY THAT AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME I AM WORRIED FOR US UNDER THIS CLOWN PLAYING LIKE WE ARE. HE NEEDS TO GO NOW WHETHER HE JUMPS OR IS PUSHED THIS CAN'T GO ON AS IT IS AT PRESNT.
  4. Voted other as i am still clinging to the very slim hope that its ancellotti, but back in the real world i would have to go with moyes. As for the many posts by redman, no-one really gives a shit about your very twisted opinion on FSW, the facts are that i personally would'nt have a real problem with him managing our club as long as he has finally touched back down on our planet?! I dont have the privalage to comment on the many other supporters of OUR club that would not like him here, so you have had your say, please just leave it at that as you are getting very BORING MATE!
  5. Coyle, Moyes would be my two favourites. They have both had pretty much feck all money to spend in thier managerial lives and thier teams both fight to the death but play attractive flowing football. Break the bank for either now before its too late to get them, they wont come to a championship team, no matter how big it is! Imagine what either of those could do with Randy's millions to spend and finding cheap gems along the way too?
  6. Wont let me vote, but it would have been out now! How can so many people on here have thier heads buried in the sand? He is killing this club from the inside like a cancer and it is breaking my heart to read all the negative press. Has warnock dissapeared off the face of the planet? Never really liked the lad but at least he played with a bit of heart and fight. Something that was clearly lacking from a group of players that clearly dont want to play for the current managerial set up, which in my opinion why a crap bunch of players on the opposing team today played us off the park for long periods. They were fighting for thier lives, for thier fans and most importantly of all they were fighting for thier manager! Forgot to add, i genuinly believe we will be going down if some drastic measures are not taken and bloody quickly. Houllier has clearly lost the more senior members of the dressing room, that is a recipe for disaster. It is not long ago that we were challenging up the other end of the table with the same group of players, plus expensive additions so why is all so utterly crap now? Only one explanation is bad management!
  7. VERY mixed emotions, so proud of the lads for 81 mins, then completely deflated by the last 10 or so. Vidic should have gone, Nani also maybe. Downing and Albrighton outstanding but downing for me just as MOM. How can the 4th official say that vidic was pushed into the crowd and not get booked? If he had not gone over he would not have been pushed, double standards for them rocket polishers yet again!!!!
  8. I would have liked to have voted YES, but sadly opted for NO. I honestly feel that without some substantial investment into the playing squad and to move unused players on, even terminate the contracts if necessary of the deadwood ( Salifou, Osbourne et al). We all know the good that Mr Lerner has done to the infrastructure of the club, and to a greater extent the money he has made available to MON, but now we find MON transfer listing a handful of players who he brought to the club and pretty much every fan would like to keep at the club and be played more often ( Davies, L.Young, NRC). We will undoubtably take a hefty loss on the three mentioned with what is pretty much the smallest squad in the league as it is. I dont read too much into the rumours of a sell to buy policy, as Mr Lerner has always said there is money available to spend. I TRULY BELIEVE that he just doesnt trust MON to spend vast amounts wisely anymore! My major concern is who would replace him? Would a foreign manager such as Frank Rijkaard want the position, and be welcomed? I would personally love to see someone like that come in, as there european knowledge would bound to bring some gems to the club and a bit of flair/creativity that we have all been crying out for. As it stands though i feel that MON has taken us as far as he can but feel now is the wrong time to part company with the new season so nearly upon us. So i find myself completely confused! So i guess he should stay for now and give him the benefit of the doubt till the transfer window shuts. I just hope he pulls some major suprises out the bag before it shuts.
  9. A friend of mine who works at the sh*tty city has told me that as a last resort they are prepared to offer...... £30 million plus onuoha, ireland and richards as they are that desperate for him. They think that is a £45 mill total, ohh yes to that!!!! Would still tell them to do one though as i think the boy is class!
  10. Thats why he needs to be the first on the teamsheet! Done **** all all game, then BANG get in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Work late shifts and most weekends these days, so dont get to go as much as i would like. Maybe 3 or 4 games a season, season ticket holder a few years back when i was in the navy and used to go home and away whenever possible. Would love to be able to go but just dont get the opportunity. UTV
  12. Superb performance tonight, very much improved and clearly you have passed on all of our worries as you say. Thank you very much general for all the good work going on at the club. I too had deep concerns for the future after last weekend but it was clear to us all that the 4-4-2 was still not working. The switch back to 4-5-1 and the counter attacking quick paced football was a delight to watch at the beginning of last season and we made most of our own luck in most of the games. The switch back tonight was what the majority of fans were hankering after and it has taken 18 games to have been proved right. The end result is there for all to see in the result tonight and to have finally beaten them after 8 years of hurt. I hope this result is the fruition of all of our concerns being passed on by you so we are all extremely gratefull to you for that. Keep up the great work and UP THE VILLA!
  13. http://www.betting-directory.com/sports-betting-article2092.html If only they had read this forum, HA! MON third to last to get the push in front of Moyes and SAF, wel they are some decent odds if correct and i may have a £10er on that one!!!!!
  14. can we not change our vote? Was happy to give him the benefit of the doubt, but after tonights performance and hearing his post match comments the bloke has clearly lost the plot! I want to vote GO now, ASAP!
