  1. Every game in this league is going to be tough bar maybe 2/3 teams
  2. I was absolutely fuming with Moreno for this exact reason, completely lazy and unnecessary.
  3. **** yes! let’s see this one out now lads! Man Utd losing now too
  4. Some rogue rumours that Coca Cola execs met with Wed Edens at the Man Utd game
  5. We need some 'Levers', whatever that means
  6. UEFA is the source per the link above. I imagine it’s worded terribly as it doesn’t read great, maybe mistranslated or something?
  7. It does sound too extreme for one year as that would be our entire allowable 3 year loss pretty much
  8. Saw this posted on Twitter, I’m not a negative Nancy but even this has me a little worried! https://editorial.uefa.com/resources/028a-1a2f899177e2-b3619612eaa4-1000/uefaeuropeanclubfinanceinvestmentlandscape_150224.pdf
  9. Big Ange and spurs are levels above us and we just have to accept that and hand over 4th place to them
  10. Such a huge win, hopefully gives us a bit of momentum for the next 4/5 games. Missed the other results but I can't imagine Ange dropped points again as Spurs are levels above us?
  11. We’ve been linked with a young attacker from River Plate called Pablo Solari, really random source. https://soydelmillo.com/mercado-de-pases/2024/02/04/aston-villa-busca-a-una-de-las-figuras-de-river-y-hay-sorpresa-en-medio-de-la-copa-libertadores/
  12. Is it definitely finito? Looked forward to that so much after big wins
  13. My Wishlist would be: RB: Frimpong £45m Rotational DM/CM: Andre £30m ST/10: Pote/Baena/Moleiro £30-£45m (does anyone have any further suggestions for this Zaniolo type role?) I think that solves a lot of our issues but a spend north of £100m maybe a bridge too far and would almost certainly need to be funded by sales
  14. Could easily see someone like West Ham paying that, if not a bit more
  15. Release clause you would think. Either way, not losing him for peanuts as he runs his contract down is the most important thing and I imagine any release clause will be hefty and a significant profit for FFP.
  16. Here's the link to the actual video for anyone that's interested. *** Older interview but interesting info nonetheless *** Craig Butler is just out and about doing his weekly shop Havent found the contract talk yet but interestingly at 40 mins in, he acknowledges that Leon was much better at home than away due to fan support and was basically slating Jamaica fans for not giving him the love that Villa fans do.
  17. His value on the books in the summer will be about £5m, as he turns 27. He’s signed up until 2027 too. You’d like to think you could bank a decent profit with an experienced PL Right Back just hitting his peak (in age terms).
  18. Just precaution I think, contact injury with the post
  19. Just precaution I think, contact injury with the post
  20. His interview when he joined was quite interesting, he looked like quite a nervous lad in general
