The Imagine one is an interesting one to dioscuss ..
I have a similar shot but when i took it I wanted the whole circle in so went wide angle as I tend to do when taking a picture of an object /building etc.
Mentally i just can't get into my head the concept of taking the shot cropped , I'm the same with monuments I hate having people in them so wait and wait until there isn't anybody around before i take my shot and I always want the whole monument in the picture
The problem then is that from a viewers point of view they lack perspective and can look a tad dull .. where as from my perspective I don't necessarily take my pictures to be viewed by a wider audience it's more about a memento of a place I've visited that comes up randomly on my screen saver or electronic Photo album on my desk at home
So what are others thoughts on this ..crop or full ?
I try and go for a different angle on all things structural. When faced with taking a photo of a statue or monument I always try and go from the ground up or take it hiding behind something. A very normal object, like a park bench or a tree adds a different dimension to the picture. I always aim to get plaques or memorials in full and never with people in the shot. I hate the natural look of people standing infront of things.

If Adebayor could be kept in check, he'd be an awesome signing for any club.
Might take a French speaking manager to dish out the right bollocking...
Wenger couldn't control him....
Yeah I realised what i'd written as soon as I pressed submit. Although in my defence, the season before he took the money and ran to Man City was his best in English football.

Just bought a Mitre ball and Reusch gloves from InterSport.

Being only 23 I've still had a good mixture of work before and after University. When I worked for finance dept. in Steelhouse Lane police station a Friday shift would't be complete without a swift few at lunch. They then shut the bar down and made it a sterile vending machine room. Very nice bar it was aswell. When I moved on to working for the NHS in Lozells, there were three of us who would nip to the local at lunch for an hour and sink a few. It was a nice way to end off a working week and Friday afternoons don't really count anyway....there's not much productivity going on.
Here's a song for the lunchtime and after-work drinkers . It may not be your style but the lyrics are good.

Whenever I watch a film, historical or based on a true story, I always have to stop and do some research. It takes me about 5 hours to watch the bloody thing.

Italy v Romania
..in Klagenfurt.
What's that all about then? I mean Klagenfurt isnt very far from the Italian border at all (30 mins or so, and maybe a 90 minute drive from the nearest major Italian settlement, Udine) but that still doesnt alter the fact that the game was played in Austria. Was it an Italy home game? Were they banned from playing in Italy for crowd trouble or anything?
I've scoured the net for the answer but can't seem to find one. The last crowd trouble incident was deemed to be Serbia's fault. There's no commercial interest either. It's not like Argentina v Brazil in the Middle East. It's confused and annoyed me.

It is, but of all the random things I've seen in here the lamenting of forms of cheese ranks high enough to warrant seeking out the whys and wherefores.
I see your point on the grater actually, but then I'm a lazy bastard and generally fork out for the pre-grated stuff.
The grated stuff is astronomical! If you don't want to wash the grater, soak it first then wash it later.
In other news, a cheeky handful of grated cheese, when no one is looking, is tasty.

George Clooney is to star in a new film about Gary Glitter. It's called "oh? she's Eleven!"
Genius!
It belongs in the Rory Delap thread...
...still cracking nonetheless.
