Changed you list, we're missing the left wing as we've lost Jack and need another winger now who is left sided and right footed like Cantwell or McNeil
McNeil is a left footer

I think we lack a right footed left winger of right quality now Jack has left. El Ghazi not good enough. I think that needs to be priority now as much as I want us to add Ward Prowse too.
Cantwell, Ward Prowse and Axel in. Wesley, Guilbert and El Ghazi out would be a dream window.
Buendia...?

0.5 x Kamada > Cantwell
Cantwell will probably be more expensive too.

Who would you rather - James Ward Prowse or Donny Van De Beek for £40M
Discuss.

There’s not much point speculating in this thread is there, Villa literally sign players out of nowhere.
So much room for speculation!

Bailey at Bayer 90 games LW 41 games RW
Last season 21 games RW 11 games LW
Smith system though? Left footer RW?
His highlights show how deadly he can be from range when he cuts in from the RW.

Not sure we'd be able to get him, just because I know all La Liga players have release clauses and the stars at clubs, even "lesser" teams outside the big three, often have obscene release clauses.
Oyaarzarbel will be the darling of Spanish football - see Chiesa in Italy. No way he’s moving out Spain. Only reason he isn’t at Real Madrid or Barcelona right now is they’re broke.

If Grealish goes we need Kamada.
Ings Kamada and Pape Sarr would cap all this off.

Well to stick to your analogy, the new company contains some of the best workers in the world at the job, including your idol who you based your entire career around emulating. The company regularly win all of the awards which you are a direct part of. The company is run by one of the best bosses of all time, with top notch facilities. The new company also has loads of those fans that the old company has. And yes, they're giving you a huge pay rise.
As someone who’s working at a company that is in the process of doubling in size - it **** sucks.
Culture is dying, becoming harder and harder to have decent relationships with people across the organisation, egos flying left right and centre.
Will be going to a smaller org in the next 12 months.

From a purely footballing point of view, City have been the best match for him for at least 3 years.
He's happy at Villa, he's comfortable, he's loved. But you need to move out of your comfort zone to achieve in this life.
I would raise a very strong argument that this line of thinking is the cause of much that is wrong with the world.
The idea that you need to step out into bigger and greater things to ‘achieve’ is ridiculous, and drives this modern-day human desire to always want more, be that possessions, money, success, whatever. It discourages looking down at what you have because that, by its very nature, does not allow you to be looking at the next thing.
You can achieve in this life very easily just by knowing what you stand for and enacting that day to day.

People need to get over the idea that a footballer who has a finite short career should not do what is best for himself with that career.
I don’t think anyone’s debating that, just the definition of ‘what is best’.

I still cringe at that video...
I think the only way to top it is some sort of Hulk remake.
Get Jack accidentally shot by a laser, putting on a Man City shirt, looking like he is about to sign a contract, and then Hulking Out, his muscles ripping the shirt into tatters, and turning into a giant Claret and Blue monster and smashing up the City conference room.A marvel film I could actually get around

I have a Whatsapp group with 8 people I went to uni with - an absolutely stunning range of conversation topics including what the weather did yesterday, Happy Birthday Steve, and does anyone own a lawn mower.

They are coming out with the same stuff, "he wants to go", " He wants the challenge", "He deserves it". Why do people think that is, seriously? Do you honestly think they would speak shit just to drive a narrative that in essence is against a club they respect(in Hendries case support) These players are closer to Jack professionally and more likely to be his mouthpiece than a bunch of randoms. They imo are airing his feeling's without the need for him to commit publicly until the situation is resolved between the clubs. As I said, I think they are prepping the fan base.
It's what I think is happening, not what necessarily is.
‘Yo Jacky, we played together for 5 years when you were 12 - you stayin’ or going?’
’Yo Hutto, long time no chill, pretty keen on City, looking for a challenge, just don’t tell anyone too obviously - trying to keep it hush hush’
’No worries Jacko, I got you, I’ll just prep the fans’
What crack needed to be smoked to write the above?

He’s staying.
There’s literally no incentive for us to drag this out in the event that he’s leaving. Start of the season is 11 days away. Haggling over £10 million is chump change if we have a poor start to the season due to players have to bed in etc - especially with our fixtures.
If the deal was done we’d want to wrap this up ASAP - take it to the bank.

This whole ‘meeting’ business is really going the way of ‘preparing a bid’

He’s a right footer, very good on the left, but still scored most goals with his right.
Under Smith he will either play centrally as you say or on the LW. We need another player who can also do both.
Although, I would also imagine Ings or Watkins will rotate through LW pretty significantly too, Smith may not see it as a need.
