  1. So just to sum up this thread, for any who don't want to go back and read it all. Lerner badge: shit. Purslow badge: shit. Heck badge: shit.
  2. I am starting to think more and more that we are reversing plans to change the badge and will in fact reinstate the Lerner badge from next year on. Perhaps not for the long long term, but short to medium term. Just a hunch.
  3. Thank you. I said similar to a group of friends and was met with "But offside is offside" and "It'll always be a case of millimetres". The collective brainwashing is really strange. Up to a few years ago when VAR came in, that wasn't the case re: offsides. Bad decisions were being made, but they were being made because in real time it was near impossible for the human eye to pick up a few millimetres, or even centimetres, here or there. Now we've gone to the other extreme and we are literally measuring with a digital ruler. This is no better than the problem it was designed to fix, and IMO it has made things considerably worse.
  4. Fair enough, you're probably right. Don't mind me. I'm just completely pissed off about the officials lately.
  5. I do. Thanks for checking. Now please go ahead - make your reasoned defence for a player receiving 2 yellow cards in the same round of a knock-out tournament and not being suspended in the next round. I'll wait.
  6. They're all just making it up on the spot now. Might as well hand the trophies to who they want before the competitions even start. What's the point anymore? I've no love at all for Coventry and the thought of them in a major cup final makes me a little uncomfortable, but I'd have them over that shower of cheating goblins any day of the week, and it sickens me that all the efforts and endeavour of a smaller team who played full of heart and love for the game is undone by some cynical rule-twisting by the powers that be. Who've now decided that yellow cards don't have the same impact as they do in Europe. Great work, you **** spineless, arrogant, cowardly, corrupt AND inept bunch of wankstains.
  7. PGMOL and VAR have conspired to make a mockery of the offside rule. Even if you could make an argument that he was clearly offside (which would take a United fan or a PGMOL employee, but those are the same thing anyway), surely the whole basis of the offside rule is that an attacking player shouldn't have an advantage over a defender when the ball is played. Please tell me how an attacker turned away from goal has an advantage over a defender facing the goal at full pelt? It's a total joke. Drawing lines (which doesn't work anyway, as anyone can see from that image) is not what the rule is **** for. The **** goblins.
  8. How the **** did we bleed 6 points to these **** clearings in the woods?
  9. Never knew Ezri was into that kind of thing. Each to their own of course.
  10. I still think some of them are tiring. We really need the likes of Zaniolo and Moreno to come back without recurrence or fatigue for May or we will play our last games with nothing in the tank.
  11. It's the right call. He's just hit at the right level for us yet, Moussa.
  12. Made this point earlier but West Ham were like worldbeaters playing us. Today despite still having Europe to play for, they have laid down for Palace, who truly have nothing to play for, to run them over. It's so **** infuriating that we never get any easy games.
  13. Agreed. Whatever it takes. With Chelsea and Liverpool yet to play, I see this as a must win tbh.
  14. HT. Have to step it up second half. These are very beatable.
  15. Think they've both been great and come through for us where the likes of Diaby and Zaniolo have flattered to deceive at times, but happier with Diaby's workrate in the run up to that goal. Ollie very quiet so far this game, hope he comes to life soon, he must be **** exhausted though.
  16. What a bloody finish that was. He's gonna be something special, our Morgan.
