  1. Can I get a legitimate bet that McGinn wont be in the starting eleven for the Norwich game? Could make a killing!
  2. Try not to kill him as you'll miss the play-offs!
  3. Apart from the obvious unsporting behaviour I think Klich was well offside!
  4. Well played lads. So proud we still show our class in the face of such adversity! Very brave.....proud that you're my club! UTV
  5. Sing, sing wherever you may be Dean Smith's Villa make history 5 more wins will surely see us through It's the Premier League for the claret and blue
  6. Its impossible for both Derby and Bristol City to win all their 4 games as they have to play each other!
  7. Brucie baby doing us a big favour....Bristol City 1 down
  8. Sing, sing wherever you may be We've just made some history 5 more wins will surely see us through It's the Premier League for the claret and blue
  9. Just to clarify. I'm NOT against any of the above. My concern is mostly abouut issues around FA cup games and the issues surrounding the haves and the have nots.....a 'level playing field' as you so rightly said! Big teams can 'take the hit' more readily than lower league clubs where a wrong decision can have a major impact on their finances! As I said, I may have a change of heart when 'everyione' in the major tournaments has access to VAR.....thats been my standpoint from the outset!
  10. No, no....my argument is that everybody doesn't have or can't afford it. If that's the case then I'm against it. I may have a change of heart when it becomes a level playing field. But not in favour as it stands!
  11. Nice Donald Trump quote....are they you're words of the day? Good to see that yiu now know what cogent means.....no need to thank me lol Keep calm....keep cogent!
  12. Lol....there you go again! I will try to explain! Yes, cogent is an everyday word! It means illogical and unconvincing! Therefore if VAR doesn't achieve its USP (fairness and the correct result) then its flawed! Hope this helps! Not to worry if you didnt know what cogent meant!.I will leave it there!
  13. Lol... that's a very poor attempt at backtracking! Whats musguided about wanting fairness? That's the VAR USP! And btw....it will NOT be in use in the championship next season....you have tripped yourself up again bud! The more you dig the less cogent your argument becomes!
  14. Thats not a cogent argument whatsoever! If as you say it currently happens then why have it at all if Rochdale will still be in the same position if they cant afford to install it. You seem to have tripped yourself up there bud!
  15. Try and read my post and tell me that the 2 examples I have given can both be fair and correct! They cant be, it's totally wrong to claim otherwise! There are many, many more examples out there! You have yet to tell me how every the result of every game can be judged to be fair and correct when it can only be used on specific occssions! (4). It's a complete nonsense IMO
  16. I think my example is pretty much self-explanatory!
  17. If you read my post then you will see more than one valid argument against VAR or in what are my examples not valid? Don't forget that the supposed USP for VAR is to "ensure a fair and correct result in EVERY game". Please tell me how this is possible when it can only be used in 4 ways!
  18. Well, clearly its not fair if its a cup game and there is a possibility of a replay where one team has VAR and goal line technology and the other doesn't.....surely thats impossible to justify!
  19. Yes, if lower league clubs cant afford it (see my example about FA cup games)! And yes, if you dont look at EVERY decision then it cant possibly be fair and correct. In other words its no different to what we already have! ....so pointless IMO as well as grossly unfair in many situations.
  20. No, I've always been for it. This is the only change that i haven't agreed with after 60 years watching!
