Also this, Rodgers signed Coutinho. He knows how to get a tune out of him. Signed Milner, Firmnio and Gomez too. I’d have no problem taking Rodgers.
Also signed Rickie Lambert, Lazar Markovic, and Mario Balotelli. Bringing him in based on the players he’s signed wouldn’t be the best idea.
Disclaimer: all those players were actually signed by the ‘transfer committee’.

96%. That’s a lot.

Talks a good game. The after dinner stories circuit is probably most suitable for him. Football management is not.
That’s me done after today. He’s just not good enough.

I think we should blacklist Crook for this rubbish. Why on earth would we be looking to add another GK?
It says 10 Jan 2022. We added a GK shortly after.

Just had a look at Leicester and West Ham fixtures, they both have tough runs, I can see both Rodgers and Moyes getting sacked before Gerrard. These two looking a manager will decrease the likelihood we get someone like Pochettino or Potter.
Bith West Ham and Leicester have got us in their next few games so that should buy them some time.

Saga? Whole thing start to finish lasted 30 hours.
We had 150 days and 1200 pages of fish and tits over a guy who didn't sign two years ago...
What a time to be alive that was.

10 points is needed up to the break for me
10 from those games or 10 points on the board? 10 from those games looks very optimistic.

Get him in the team. He’s our second best midfielder. Never anything spectacular but does all things to a good level. Not a Gerrard type midfielder though.

Benteke did something to his didn't he? And he lost pace because of it.
I suppose CB pace and striker pace is a bit different. You lose the explosiveness. A CB could compensate through reading of the play for example, but losing that initial burst to get away from the defender could really affect your game as a striker.

Interesting video on the lack of midfield from both teams yesterday. I find it amazing that two of England’s best midfielders from the last 20 years can produce teams like this.

It looks like Miss Philogene was not Bidace’s lover after all. She was just a girl who thought he was the one.

Man who gets invited to a zoom call to express his opinions goes ahead and expresses his opinions. Souness really is a tw*t.

It's not.
Kevin Durant, nba basketball play snapped his achillies and walked off the court.
I had a mate do it at 5 a side and walked off to his car.
Durant tore his. Tore and snapped are two different things. If you’ve snapped it, as in completely through, you’re in a heap on the ground. You’re not walking.

I’d rather seeing him coming on against tiring defences. I don’t think he’s got the legs for fully fit PL teams anymore.

Frank Lampard
It’s very important to note this. I’m doubtful that Gerrard is going to be a top manager. Maybe he will be and I hope he’s a success here. One thing I am sure of though, is that Frank Lampard is a worse manager/coach that Gerrard. Probably the worst in the league.

That's not his job. Too many cooks as people are saying.
Have you ever worked with more than 1 or 2 people trying to tell you your job.
Maybe that’s his role on match days? He seems to do it quite often at least. Every team has 1 coach (often unrecognisable to people who don’t follow the club) who gives instructions to the players before they go on. McPhee seems to be ours.

But 0 wins since the final whistle today. I’m sick of it. Gerrard out.

Did he play up front when he came on or did we change shape?

I’ve seen athletes walk off fields with torn ACLs. It’s certainly possible.
If it’s a snapped Achilles then he wouldn’t have walked off. That’s a fall in a heap injury if you try and walk.
