    Three points are a must on Saturday. Man City and Spurs have tricky fixtures so if they lose and we win it would provide a cushion of sorts before Man U beat us.

    That was difficult to watch, particularly second-half. Credit to Friedal and defence who kept us in it. Cuellar and Beye were excellent. Gabby and Carew played well but got no service second -half. Our problems all stem from the fact that our central midfield pairing is just not good enough.

    Excellent today and didn't seem to tire as much as in previous games. Finding full fitness at last. Hope people remember this performance against top opposition and a frighteningly good midfield before they lambast him in the future. Credit to Sidwell though, gets through a lot of graft and never stops running and allows Stan time to get on the ball more. Another player who sometimes comes in for stick is Cuellar and I also thought he was great today ..and he's playing out of position!! Well done Villa.

    Very solid all round performance. Dominated the midfield and defence had a comfortable afternoon. Fulham were quite disappointing, really.

    We should have wrapped that up long before they scored. Terrible result. Very disappointed.

    This for me too. Live in Barcelona. Have been to two games at Villa park and went on the Malaga game recently. Internet streams and Spanish TV for me mostly........rarely miss a game however.

    The result is secondary. Thought it was interesting to watch and to see some of our own reserves in action. Albrighton was impressive though he was lucky not to leave on a stretcher after a nasty tackle by "Wellington" Osbourne did some nice things and Bannan was lively. Harewood was poor and Lichaj was solid but for that horrendous mistake for their goal.
