Overall he played well. They seemed to target the ball over the top and it did seem to catch him out a bit at first but he got better and more assured as the game came on. I'm liking him and hope he keeps on improving

Looked good today. Worked hard made himself available and created a few changes, that cross for Benteke was very good and except for an excellent save we would have scored. On the negative side he gave the ball away too easily in a dangerous position not long after he came on. He also could have done better for the shot he had and the pass to Richardson but hopefully those little things will improve over time. Just needs some experience and game time to fully get up to speed. Hopefully he gets more game time in the future and would rather see him than N'Zogbia -

Great goal by benteke but the rest of his game has been poor. Although he is coming into it more as the game goes on Cissoko playing awful. Slicing clearances and getting beaten. Need to calm down in the second half

One thing that i think everyone will agree with is that he needs game time to improve. Hopefully now that the really bad run of fixtures is over he starts to see these kind of cameos and gets a chance to learn. -
I can see him getting a goal soon. He's had a few decent chance from the edge of the area in the last few games and usually gets them on target but close to the keeper. One has to come right soon

Grealish didn't do enough for me to deserve a start. Would rather see Wiemann in for him at the start of the game and then bring him on for Cole later in the game

Possibly same people who've been giving him grief for not putting Grealish on - who gave ball away before pen. It was Gabby who gave the ball away for their goal... It was Richardson actually ! Pretty sure it was Gabby. He also did it a few other times in the last 10 minutes too

He did well when he had the ball and generally made good decisions but his work rate off the ball was poor enough. Needs to be making more of an effort to find space if he wants to really make an impact -
Up until about 80 minutes all was going well. We could have had 3 or 4 goals in the first half and played really well with Cole the stand out. Second half, we started to sit back but the changes Lambert made did help with that, until they got the peno and we just fell apart and were lucky to hold on in the end.

Our whole team is in our defensive 1/3 of the pitch and still a burnley player was unmarked with 10 yards of space
