  1. Start with with a facebook, group one that includes Man U in the title..... "Will Phil Dowd be the next Man U manager?" Loads will join even none villa fans.
  2. Every Man U fan I have spoken to says he should have gone, or at least a yellow card. This ain't going away, is it!
  3. The fact is Vidic never even got a yellow card for the penalty, WHY? It makes no sense at all. Truly pissed of TBH, all that money and effort can be tainted by a bad decision.
  4. I get the feeling this is going to be a hard game for us, reckon it may go all the way to extra time and penalties, I so hope i'm wrong. My prediction is we win 5-3, after extra time and penalties.
  5. Oooh, I hope that was accidental :-) F**kin L, its Donkey Downing!
  6. At times our play was unstoppable, all the important players, creative wise, seemed to click into place. Milner, Young, Gabby and Downing just seemed to grow in stature over a five minute period. If they can maintain that sort of form for any length of a time in a match, then Villa should fear no team. My MOTM, A Young. We have some very important games coming up and we seem to be flickering into life. If we can win these next few games and gain some consistency, then we could be entering a very important time in our History. UTV
  7. Palace fans should watch the TV, you heard them twice for about 2 minutes each time.
  8. The officials were terrible for both sides tbh, bottled plenty of decisions. The linesman who flagged for offside when the Fonz was 3 yards on, he missed the goal kick for Palace when we scored form the corner. Elbows, pushing. The bright sides for me was Delph and the Fonz, who looked very lively when he came on, would like to see him start a match, ~I think hes ready. Our away support is fantastic, the best I have heard on TV. ITV may have not mentioned it but anyone watching it would be equally impresses. West Brom or Reading? Prefer West Brom. We have a great chance to go further in this now with Spurs away to Fulham and a Chelsea v Man City game My MOTM, hard one this...... Milner.
  9. The Fonz has shown more in five minutes than either Carew or Heskey have.
  10. Take L Young or Warnock off for the Fonz, Carewwwwwwww
  11. Carew is making a difference, can see a goal coming
  12. Heskey was s**t, sorry, but thats the way I saw it and Warnock's a very good manager, tactically he has is bang on.
  13. We have no strikers on the pitch, Heskey has gone missing, we keep getting the ball in wide areas and no ones up front for us.
  14. The part of the ball in contact with the ground was yes. Looking at it from above part of it would have been overlapping the line. It was a legal corner. Where you sitting then, near the corner flag?
  15. Our fans are so loud, the loudest Ive heard on TV, "My old man said be a city fan............."
  16. Without Rooney Man U would have lost, the guy ran the show and it took all of our defenses concentration to keep tags on him, he was playing up front alone and it took 4 defenders to keep him under control (even then he created chances) Sometimes you just have to sit back and admire players like him, even though he plays for the opposition. Watching matches like this as Villa fans is always a nervous affair, years of last minute f**k ups, bad decisions and a whole lot of other crap have made us all very nervous, this is why, IMO, the fans lose patience easily.
  17. Milner was never going to be able to get involved in the game against Spurs, they more or less by passed the middle or kept going down their right side through Bentley, it was very effective and I don't blame Harry for doing it. Milner in the middle is very much a work in progress, he will have great games and bad. To compare him to Huddlestone now is a no no, he has far more experience in the middle. Milner however has got far more to come than Huddlestone has, his work rate is probably twice what Huddlestones is, he can spot a pass (like Huddlestone) and has a reasonable amount of pace. Its of no surprise he has been linked to some of the Sky top 4 and this summer,IMO, we will have a battle to keep him. On the who's got the biggest 'C**K argument, Spurs or Villa, who cares? We have both underachieved and to boast about successes in our past is a bit embarrassing, to us both!
