  1. Everything is pissing me off today whether it should or shouldn't. I'm not sure if it is a belated FA cup blues or what, but trying my hardest not to snap at anyone. I'm probably working till midnight, so I'm not sure I'm going to last before biting someone's head off, who will no doubt probably be the least deserving of my temper.

  2. I feel like I should add something to this Reggae chat, but I'm still on a bit of a downer from the weekend. All I'll say is, it's one of my favourite kinds of music, but I couldn't listen to it all of the time. Just about 10 to 15 hours a day is enough. ;)

Oh and I ******* hate the Eagles, man.

The correct quote is "I hate the ******* Eagles, man." and NOT "I ******* hate the Eagles, man."

Honestly, it's like some people don't even want to be Achievers.

But that would just confuse matters as then it could be he hates the band called The F**king Eagles rather than the band called The Eagles.

  3. I feel physically ill.... and were over four hours away

I'm terrible, worse than I'd have been if I had tickets. I'm so restless, I got a train to London and meeting some non villa or arsenal supporting mates at the event with Ray Parlour & John Gregory. Might squeeze one in with some Villa before they head to Wembley & hopefully be celebrating with loads of you in town later.

  4. I just got a phone call.

    See you at Wembley boys!

  :hooray:   :hooray:   :hooray:    :flag:

I liked your post but extremely jealous, that I have shit mate and acquaintances that can't sort me out :D

  5. I collect fleshlights and sometimes mess around with with them while wathcing the tube. There is one in particular that has seemed to have a lot of success while watching the Villa. It has a 4 out of 5 win ratio compared to any other light (20 or so) and has never seen a draw.

    No, Im not OCD

    Fixed

I read tube as lube so fleshlight does fit better.

  6. Full marks to the system that meant tickets were sold block by block, which meant I was allocated two tickets not sat together. Wouldn't have been such a major problem but my +1 is my 7 year old, not sure he'd be keen on sitting on his own. Fortunately our very helpful ticket office have reallocated and I can relax. There must be a better way to sell the tickets other than block by block though?

That sounds like a mistake rather than because it was block by block? You would think if it was down to single seats only, the next block would be opened up.

The best solution for selling Wembley tickets is if somehow clubs can use wembley's ticket booking system. It's pretty easy to book England tickets where you want. Not sure how feasible it is though regarding eligibility stipulations for each club though.

  7. Was planning on doing exactly the same as The Semi, clothes, pubs, tubes etc but first my trainers sole has fallen off and now worst of all I won't be at Wembley either.

I'm thinking I might need to perform a sacrificial ritual now or we're doomed!

  8. I'm sure I've read that someone said they were watching it in a bar in Benidorm but can't remember name of the place or even which forum. Sorry not much help, have even tried searching but can't find it so may have just imagined it :D

  9. Are there many football chairmen that don't have at least some stake in the club they run?

If there is no sale do you think a new Chairman means that he will look at the possibility of selling a share of the club or that it will purely be a job role?

  10.

don't I feel bad for going all Katie Hopkins and not taking the post seriously ..my bad  , sorry

the reading up I did some time back seemed to suggest the cure for nut allergies ( for example) was to introduce small amounts of nuts into the persons food and gradually increase it , kinda makes sense as that's how a lot of vaccinations work , is that what they will try with your son ?

Yeah we found out the hard way about the nut allergy ...I drove like Kimi Raikkonen to the hospital that day ....she's a high reaction to peanuts just touching can cause it to kick off ..we're in hospital next month to try this introduction thing but just nervous of the what ifs ...if things go wrong

I'm allergic to peanuts but have never gone into anaphylactic shock, I can get to whats probably not that far short of that stage but luckily I've never had to go to hospital and don't carry an epipen. Having said that my last reaction a year or so ago, I didn't get as bad as I usually do, so I am hoping inadvertently my mum poisoning me over the years dishing out food she's not seen has nuts in has allowed me to build up some tolerance.

  11. Can't remember where I read it but did recently. Can't say I've paid much attention on who was first in previous FA cup finals. Not convinced it's true as Wigan are listed before Man City where ever I've looked.

Not really too concerned either way.

  12. Not sure why I keep looking in this thread, with my chances of sorting a ticket getting less and less each day, it's depressing.

Not going to give up trying though.

  13. Jamie Vardy though? He's only scored one more goal than Clev this season.

    And he's an absolute whopper.

Yeah Vardy is a weird one but there's quite a big difference in getting into this current squad as a forward than in midfield. Once you take into account injured players and those in the U21's there's not a load of quality English strikers banging in the door.
  14. There was no chance of him getting in the squad who ever he played for if he had a season like he'd had here. Yes he's been quality but it generally takes more than a couple of months of good form to get into recognition, more so in the England Midfield. Take a look at the midfield, off just the back of short recent form he is unlikely to replace any of those. Some because they deserve to be there and a favourite like Wilshere who was always going to get picked and maybe Mason (is this his 2nd time) who has been another chance for Roy to look at him in training.
