The claret looks washed out… like it’s been in a shop window for 10 years. It’s nothing like the claret shown in the previews on the OS or YouTube videos. This is probably to do with the poor quality of the camera but it doesn’t bode well! Let’s just hope it looks better in the flesh because on the hanger it looks cheap and nasty.

Very Nice... Make the claret band on the arms smaller and It would be even better. One thing missing from the other designs are the squares... RL/PF wanted us to have idendity so I assume the new kits will have squares on too.

I think so and based on the rumours going around, why use green and not blue or claret like the rest of the flyer. I kits would of been of made so are out there and it seems people have saw them. Aye... I do prefer the darker more sharper green than the text colour. But colours are very hard to judge from mockups/hexadecimal colours to actual fabric... lets hope the real thing is 'a better shade of green' so to speak

I think maybe because the Nike deal had not finished when the material was issued... I would assume that stuff issued now will have macron on it. Just a guess like.

On the flyer/promotional material for the event... the 'SEE THE AWAY KIT' is in a mint-ish green colour... do you think this might be the colour of the kit?

Either that or he has had a word with Kevin Macdonald & Gordon Cowans regarding the players that 'run the show' as it were... Wow, I can understand him wanting that reassurance but what club willdo that? He should have more confidence in his own abilities to not be so demanding. Would anyone want a manager that is deffo tide to them for say 2 years? I really want AVB but if he is demanding that then I'm sorry he can jog on. What happens if we are bottom at Christmas... Probably wouldn't happen if we did get AVB but it's a big ask having a clause like that!

It could mean a number of things... 1) Didn't get chance to speak to his contact due to sunbathing commitments. 2) Trying to make us sweat for as long as possible in an attempt to make us pull all our hair our so he can have the crown of Villa Fan's Hair Of The Year Award. Or 3) His contact ain't got a scooby doo who the hell we we are after and doesn't want us all to jump of the nearest bridge, causing traffic mayhem and Gazton to miss out on the Queen's celebrations? There's something exciting about the not knowing though mate. I agree with you to an extent as I'd like to be signing bosmans. That said, nothing really happens until July. At least we've got some footie to watch. I get your point mate but there is an awful lot to do at Villa other than signing players (even though it is the main thing!) The manager needs to be available ASAP to strip and repair the fabric of our club, scouting, training, coaching etc. The sooner this can get started the better IMO. Any manager worth his salt (dunno if thats the right saying?) would already have a very high knowledge of players and targets, especially if they have been sounded out for interviews. But we need to remember its a massive task bringing us kicking and screaming into modern attacking football, the sooner they get started the better! Plus i'm fed up of not getting much work done, I hope we won't wait until after the euros, I won't be able to take it!!!
